That left Xan and Lily alone in the room.
For a minute Lily felt like he was not in the room with her. But he was, silent as always in the background just watching. It should be creepy but Lily just went along with it, Xan looked scary but he would never hurt her.
She had so many questions. It seemed like he knew that lady. For her to have laughed when he yanked her off, familiarity was certainly there.
She just had to know for sure.
"Thank you.." Lily said softly.
The room remained silent, she felt he was not going to reply her, she sighed into the quiet.
"No need to thank me." His gruff voice said.
