The aroma of roasting pork and beef fills the air.
The large sizzling pots of food simmering on open fire, some young wolves are at the very end of the cooking area butchering the game they hunted in the woods. Today we dine in our human form.
The women stand together happily chatting away and the children chase after one another playing a game of tag. Apart from that different groups stood together doing one their own tasks. The sun is going to set soon and then the celebrations shall begin.
From the safety of my quarters I have the bird eye view of the whole arena. My pack has pulled out all the stops, from the decorations to the food and fun games. They were sparing nothing. It almost makes me feel a twinge of regret that I shut down our borders since I was crowned Alpha
