I’m as comfortable as I assume I’m going to get for the foreseeable future. I’m propped on the couch with a mountain of cushions while Kayla zooms around the house like a hummingbird on cr*ck. “Woman, would you sit down?” I finally call out. “You’re making me exhausted just watching you.” I beckon her to the couch and I’m relieved when she comes over and curls up next to me. “Sorry, I just want to make sure you have everything you need,” she says, sounding even more tired than she looks, which is saying something. “Oh!
