I’m summoned to HR just after lunch. I assume someone reported me for having a bad attitude all day, which is pretty unfair. I think I’m allowed to have a b*tchy day once in a while, especially when my heart is in tatters and getting repeatedly kicked. I nearly threw myself at Ash when I walked into the meeting this morning. I had thought if he looked like sh*t, it would somehow make me feel better, but it didn’t. He was pale, with dark circles under his eyes, and looking far too vulnerable. The only thing I could do to stop myself from begging for forgiveness was to let myself get angry at him.
