Jer came into Lit with his arm around Amy and a big smile on his face.
I had finally accepted that he liked her and that he would never ever like me.
I took in a deep breath and looked away from them as they took their seats in front of me.
"You okay?"
I turned to Jimmy and nodded. "Yeah," I whispered.
He didn't look convinced and he glanced at the back of Jeremiah's head before glancing back at me.
"If you say so."
I sighed and rolled my eyes when Amy giggled for the fifth time since class started.
"Okay, guys! I have tenth-grade assignments to grade. I would like you to work on your projects in class today."Mr.Dermott announced before walking to his desk.
I wasn't sure what I was meant to do. Jer wasn't talking to me and I didn't think he was going to work with me either.
