It had been more than fifteen minutes when Juhi had gone to ask Rex to leave his room and come outside, and I was getting worried.
It was no secret that I did not trust any of the others with Juhi.
But this man-w***e was the worst of them.
So, I went to the room I never would've in any other situation or emergency. I knocked and waited. I couldn't believe I was willing to wait at Rex's door for Juhi's sake. But I was willing to do much more for her after what happened in the lake. She had become much more important to me.
