Alpha's First Love

CH 2 Mia Pov 10 years later

A lot has happened in the last 10 years. She managed to keep her pregnancy quiet. Until her parents visited, She told them she had a one night stand with someone at college and decided to keep the baby. She doesn't think they believed her, especially when her pregnancy only lasted 6 months, but they've never asked anymore questions of her.

Wyatt is beautiful and has her red hair and blue eyes, but it looks like his father when he was younger. Which gives her pain every so often when he looks at her a certain way. It's not his fault. She just still has pain where Thornwick is concerned. She hasnt seen or heard from him in all these years. He never visited her, She did find out her brother barred him from visiting her.

She hasn't been home since the day she left. Her parents and brother always visit her, and Amiee sometimes goes home, but she says she likes her life with us. She's has always told Amiee to go home permanently when she is ready, but she always gets back.

"You would never survive without me."

It's true that the first couple of years with Wyatt as a baby and trying to do her degree, working jobs was hard. Her and Amiee would take it in turns, looking after Wyatt in between classes after and before work. We made it work. Amiee is a teacher now and is Wyatt's home school teacher when we are away on tour.

Three years into Worthington, she was spotted singing at an open song writters night and was signed to a human record label. She managed to finish her music degree, followed by her teaching degree. She wanted something to fall back on. She loves touring and seeing different places with Wyatt and Amiee.

Wyatt loves it. He loves telling all his friends the places he's been too and while she performs, Amiee is his tutor. He loves his auntie Amiee she always makes it fun.

She does try and only tour when he is off school, and she's always at home for birthdays and Christmas. She does love it, tho. She got a lot of her pain out in her songs, especially in the early days.

She makes a good living out of it. She writes a lot for other artists. She does more of that now as Wyatt has gotten older and is in school. She's just finished her last tour. She's taking a full extended leave for a year or so. Figure out her next move.

She just got off the plane, and her phone rang. Hi mom, how are you? " Are you busy, my dear?" she asked.

"No, she just got off the plane headed for her car, why?. "It's about our visit next week we can't come." Mother said. Why?

"Please don't worry, but your dad was attacked today at some warriors as well."

Rouges?.

"Yes, hunni, they scent blocked themselves, so it was a sneak attack, planned. Alpha Channing is trying to figure out why." her mother stated.

She sat down nearby bench. Mom, be honest. Is dad going to be okay?

"Yes, he's hurt badly, but he will be fine. They is something else. " What?

Her mom started to cry, "Conner was unfortunately killed in the attack." She froze.

Mia? She's still here, mom. she doesn't know what to say. She was speechless.

"We are having a burial in a few days to celebrate him if you can come?." Mom asked.

She doesn't know if she could do that. She hasn't been back in a long time.

"I know, but he was one of your oldest friends since you were 5 years old."

She knows, okay, but she's not moving back. Is that clear?

"Yes, hunni." Mom said. She'll let you know her travel plans and hang up.

She drove home. She didn't live far from the airport an hour. We moved out into the countryside. No one bothers us, and our beasts can run free. Not many shifters pass through the occasional bear or witch, but that's it.

It was a month after she left the pack, the next full moon. Her shifter came forth wasn't a wolf like we all thought. She's a kitsune, a red kitsune with 9 black tipped razor-sharp tails. She was very shocked when Scarlet told her what she was. She would shift the following month.

She panicked as she we always told females don't shift while pregnant as it can kill the baby. Scarlet said she knows their pregnant, and kitsunes can still shift into their form. It's a special gift. She's learnt a lot about her kitsune over the years. She was born with knowledge of her kin. Scarlet unfortunately doesn't know who our parents are. That is something she needs to find out herself.

She has been researching over the years and always ends up at a dead end. If we are going home, she can speak with elder Anderson, he's 300 years old.

"Maybe he knows something about kitsunes." Scarlet said

She wondered if he knew anything. She didn't know about Kitsune before she became one. She'd heard of fox shifter, but it never bothered her to ask about others shifter in school. She thought she was a wolf.

"I'm better than a wolf," she said.

"What are we going to do when we get home?" Scarlet asked.

Nothing she told her family to never repeat what we are, and Amiee never would. They are only four that knew and the witch that we saved. A few years ago, we were out hunting in the woods and came across a witch she was badly hurt and bleeding. She carried the witch back to our home, fixed her up, and when she woke up and she thanked her.

She told her she was called Annabelle and was running from a nasty wizard that her parents were making her marry. Mia didn't ask anymore. It wasn't her place.

Annabelle wanted to reward her with a gift as she was a powerful witch and could grant her anything as long as it wasn't death. She said there was no need.

"You are a rare kitsune." she is asked. Yes, what off it?

"I mean you no harm, Mia. It's one of my special gifts. I can tell what any shifter it is. Scent blocked are not. what if I made you a bracelet for you and your son so no one would ever be able to scent you or your son? " she offered.

She paused for a minute, liked the idea. Annabelle made them a bracelet each. She's never seen her again. A knock on the car window brought ger out of her thoughts. Hi Amiee, sorry, she was lost in a memory.

"Connor?" she asked.

No, but mom called her while she was leaving the airport.

"It's just awful, Mia." Amiee said with tears in her eyes. She knew Conner was Amiee first love.

"We knew we would never be mated to each other, but we cared for one another. He was my first. "

She knows Amiee, she's going back, and dads hurt. mom asked her, too. She couldn't say no.

"I'm aswel." Amiee said.

She was about to say something about Thornwick, and then she heard the door open. Wyatt shouted MOM your back.

Hello son, how was school?

" Good, I've finished school for a week now, are grandma and Grandpa still visiting?". Wyatt asked.

Well, you might be off longer?. Let go inside. We all sat. Grandpa has been hurt in a rouge attack, and our friend Conner, the future Gamma, has been killed. He looked shocked. She's never lied to him or Amiee. He knows about our world. The only thing he doesn't know is who his father is.

She will ring your school and tell them it might be a month or so till he's back and get all your work ready to take with us. Amiee and herself will teach him.

"If it's going to be a while, could I go to school in the pack?" Wyatt asked.

Erm, yes, if you want to. She sure that could be arranged. She looked at Amiee? we can sort it out when we arrive at the pack.

That night after Wyatt had gone to bed, what's that about earlier.

"School? he's nearly 10 Mia. I think he wants to be around kids like him one day. " Amiee said.

She knew this day would come. We arnt wolves Amiee. She guess we are not enough anymore?.

"Speak for yourself. I'm a cool auntie. " She laughed that you are.

She called the school, explained our family emergency, and said she didn't know how long we would be gone. His headteacher was understanding. Amiee resigned from her job, and she let her record label know she wouldn't be able to work for a few days while she settled in at her new place and would call or email them when she was settled.

Also, for them to email her any songs other artists wanted, ect, and she will try and make her meetings over the next couple of weeks in person or on video chat.

We packed the truck up, and the trailer we have we everything we need. Closed the house up and turned off everything. Asked her neighbour Mary for any mail to be sent to her parents' home address. She will redirect anything important on Monday. Her brother has an office at the pack, she'll sort it they.

We got on our way. It was only an 8 hour drive.

"How do you feel about seeing Thornwick?".Amiee asked.

Nothing. She's not the same person she was when he knew her. She's different, and she even looks different.

"Yeah , you're hotter. He's going to be drooling." Amiee said. Stop it. She does look different since Scarlet shifted, and everyone is going to notice.

Her hair is more red like fire with black tips like Scarlet. Her eyes are more blue. Scarlet eyes are fire red. She is a little taller only by a couple of inches now. She still has an hourglass figure, which is just more defined, her breasts are larger, and her bum is firmer.

She doesn't want him. Especially not the person she left anyway.

"Mom, I'm hungry. Can we eat, please? " Wyatt said.

Okay, henry's diner, about 30 minutes outside the pack. It does the most amazing burgers if she remembers correctly.

"Are we almost at your home, mom?" Wyatt asked.

Yes, we are, son. We pulled up at the diner, and she walked into order at the counter, and the waitress said it would be 10 minutes,

"Mia Jones," Henry said.

"Oh, hello, Henry, you are still here." she said laughing.

"Yes, every day i own it now, he laughed you home for a bit?" he asked. Yes, for family.

"I'm sorry about that, i heard about your father and Connor," he said. looking sad.

Thank you, Henry. Her father is a tough old f**t he'll be fine. Henry laughed.

"I'll tell him you said that." She laughed. She already tells him herself.

She heard a familiar voice. "Is that my baby sister?" Marcus said.

Oh hell, she turned round to see Marcus. He picks her up and gives her a squeeze. Hello brother, "i missed you, sis." Marcus said. You two, brother.

Have you seen dad?

"Yes, he's okay, battered broken and bruised, but he'll pull through.

"Where is my nephew?" he asked.

He's in the car with Amiee. who you with? he pointed at the booth, and then she turned to see Thornwick at his normal table.

He was sitting with his Charlie and Alton and a blonde woman kissing his cheek. yeah, he hasn't changed at all. He was fully watching her.

"Mia, your food is ready," thanks, Henry.

"I'll walk you out." Marcus walked her to the car.

She heard Wyatt shout "Uncle Marcus", he got out of the car and ran straight at his uncle. Marcus picked him up and gave him a squeeze. She could feel Thornwick watching her from the window. She felt a shiver run through her.

"Hello Amiee, gorgeous as ever," Marcus said. "Hello Marcus, smooth as ever," she said. he laughed.

"Well, I see you at home," he said.

Yes, we are going to go eat in the car park then drive over. He hugged her

"I'll see you all soon, you too gorgeous," he said. Amiee shaked her head.

We ate our burgers and fries, so good, it's been too long. She missed this place, even Wyatt said there was the best burger he'd ever had.

"Can we come back?" he asked. Of course, we can.

She got out of the car to put our rubbish in the bin, and as she walked back to the car. She opened the car door when a hand stopped the door. She knew it was him. She turned to see Thornwick looking at her.

"Were you not going to say hello?" he asked.

Hello Alpha Thornwick, How are you?

He stared at her, shocked by the formalities.

"I'm good, thank you it's been a long time, Mia," smiling at her. It has what she can do for you, Alpha?. He seemed surprised by her words.

"I just wanted to say hello." Morning Alpha," Amiee said from her seat.

Wyatt rolled down his windows. "mom, are we going?" Wyatt asked. yes, son, just a moment.

"Hello, I'm Alpha Thornwick." He put his hand out to Wyatt, Wyatt looked at her for permission, and she nodded. Wyatt took his hand

"Yes, you too, Alpha Thornwick. I am Wyatt Marcus Jones." Wyatt stated.

"it's very nice to meet you, Wyatt." Thornwick said. She was shaking, and she heard Amiee in her head,

"Breathe, Mia."

Sorry, she doesn't mean to be rude, Alpha, but her mother is waiting, and we want to go see her father.

"Yes, of course. can we speak later, Mia?" he asked. Why?

"I would like a catch-up with you, please." He said. erm what about? "Please, Mia, just one conversation with me?" he asked.

Maybe, and she got in the car.

She drove to the pack house. Mother was waiting at the pack steps for them. When she saw us, she came running at the car, hugging her.

"I missed you."

Yes, you too, mom.

"I didn't think you would want to stay in the pack house, so I got you a three bedroom house, 5 mins drive away from pack house."

Yes, thank you. She jumped in with us, and we drove to the house parked up. We all got out. Mom was hugging Wyatt.

"Oh, you have grown." she said. he smilied.

"I will be as tall as Uncle Marcus." he stated, standing in his tiptoes.

"That you will nephew," Marcus said.

She heard his voice. What are you doing here?.

"Mum said she thought you'd need help with your belongings." he said.

We wanted to help too, Alton, hugged her.

"You grown girl, still gorgeous as ever. I've got my dancing partner back," Alton said. You're still charming as ever. He laughed. Charlie hay girl. She's very sorry about Connor he was one of a kind, and he was always good to her.

"Thank you, Mia, he would have liked to have seen you again. He followed all your music," Charlie said. oh, really? she was touched.

Thornwick was here too, arms folded, muscles pulsing leaning against his car. Why does he still have to be hot. Mother noticed.

"Alpha, i'm sure you have loads to do. we can help my daughter settle in."

He looked at her more than annoyed. He turned and got in his car and took off. Mom?

"What? He's not my Alpha yet, and he drove my daughter away. " she said.

Let's not get into it right now. She was looking at Wyatt, but he heard it all, and he's going to have questions great.
