CH 3 Thornwick Pov

The attack on the pack was devastating. We lost many, and many were injured. Hes still trying to figure out what they wanted and how they got in. He lost his Gamma Conner. He will feel his loss for a long time.

He was in his office, not his Alpha office. He will take over that in a one week time. He will be the official Alpha to Blood Moon Pack. Charlie walked in

"Boss, you wanted to see me?". She said.

Yes, he needs to ask you if you want to take over as his Gamma?.

"Me, why me?" she looked stunned.

Because you are Gamma blooded and Conners twin, and he's known her his whole life. You have compassion coming out of you in spades.

"Can I think about it?" she asked.

He was hoping you would say that. Then Marcus walks in. Beta Charlie has agreed to be our Gamma.

"Brilliant, I'm glad, so would Conner, he would be p**sed if you let it go to Christian." Marcus said.

Let's give it a few days, Charlie, then he'll go through Conners responsibilities with you. What can he do for you, Marcus?

"Mia is coming home." he looked up.

"Don't get any ideas she off limits to you, and she still hates you as far as I'm aware." Marcus!

"No Thornwick. I support you on everything. You are my best friend, my Alpha, but my sister is off limits to you. Don't talk to her, leave her alone and if you can't, you can find yourself a new Beta. " Marcus said.

His jaw dropped Marcus. Please be reasonable.

"I will leave when she does this time like I should have done last time," Marcus admitted. He was about to speak when he heard,

"Thornwick darling, shall we go for lunch?" Marcus rolled his eyes. "Oh, heres your latest squeeze." and walked out.

He can't, Daisy. He is going to go to Henry's with his Alpha unit. He was trying to get away from her. He mind linked Marcus and Alton, and Charlie is still in his office. Let's go for lunch. Sure, they all said. Marcus was reluctant.

He was about to get in his car, and Daisy was already in the car. "Oh please honey, let me come. I haven't seen you all week. " she said. Fine. His unit was all huffing.

We are sitting in the diner, and his wolf just stands up. What is it, buddy? rouge?

"No, I sense mate might be here where?"

"At the counter red hair," then he spots her.

He hears Marcus say hi, sis.

"Mia is here," Charlie and Alton said. Marcus hugs her, Marcus see her look at him. Pyrite was saying.

"She is our mate i sense something." he said

"She looks hot." Charlie said. He and Alton both looked at her.

"What? she does. " Charlie added.

"I suppose, but she has fake red hair not natural like mine," Daisy said. Flicking her hair. Actually, you're wrong that her natural hair colour.

"How do you know?" Because he grow up with her, so watch your mouth Daisy, she's the current betas daughter. She instantly shut up.

He watched them walk outside with their food. Saw a boy run out toward Marcus, shouting Uncle Marcus, he picked him up, he could tell she knew he was watching her, saw her shiver. He watched them drive toward the carpark. Clearly, she didn't want to see him.

Marcus sat back down. Are they okay? he looked at him. "Fine, just wanted food, had a long drive." He nodded.

"Mia son is so handsome," Charlie said.

"That he is 9 going on 20. Goddess helps us all when he's a teenager. " he laughed.

Are they staying in the pack house?

"No, mom got her a house nearby, the new project houses you built. We didn't think it was a good idea for her to stay in the pack house." Marcus said,"

Why?

"Do I really need to say it?" Marcus said, yes.

"Fine, she doesn't have the best memories of that place, does she now." Marcus answered.

He said nothing before an argument started. He excused himself for the bathroom. He really wanted to go outside and see her. He saw her getting off her car to get rid of the rubbish

He took his chance, He caught her door, Mia. She froze, slowly turning. Oh, she was just as gorgeous. She looks slightly different but still her.

He asked her to meet him for a conversation, and he could tell she didn't want to. He knows he has some making up to do.

"You hurt mate, my wolf stated," yes, but we hurt, mate. Pyrite went quiet, you was with him then.

When Wyatt rolled down his window, Pyrite kept saying, "Touch him." Why? "I sense something. Go on touch him, Thorn."

He introduced himself, and it looked less weird than him, just grabbing a kids hand. He introduced himself back so maturely for his age. He senses a connection to him. He couldn't put his finger on it. then pyrite said

"Son." No, Pyrite, you're wrong. "Hes our son."

They quickly drove away, He walked back into the diner. Daisy said, "Are we ready to go?. He nodded. He drove through the pack and was thinking about what Pyrite had said.

He spotted Mia's car drive off toward the house she was staying in.

"Alpha, please drop me off at Mia house. im going to help my sister unload her car. " Marcus said.

"Yeah, me too, I want to help." Alton and Charlie added.

He parked up, but Nina politely told him to leave. He didn't want to. He didn't want to get into an argument with her family either. He drove back to the pack house and went to his office. He found Daisy in his office not long after. She was clearly mad.

"What's going on, Thornwick?" she asked.

What are you talking about?

"The red head?" The red head has a name Daisy, and she is just an old girlfriend, she hasn't lived here for 10 years.

"You've not seen her in 10 years."

No, she went away to college, and she didn't return home. She made her life out in the countryside, apparently.

"You don't know where? you have never seen it? Do I need to be worried?". Daisy shouted out.

He could feel himself getting annoyed. Daisy, you are someone he likes to f**k you're not his girlfriend or his mate, and you never will be. if you don't like it, leave. She walked out upset.

"What was wrong with her?" It was Marcus.

Wanting more from him than what he's willing to give her.

"Well, what do you expect?" Marcus stated.

He's never given her hope. "How long have you been f**king her?" he asked.

About a year, why?

"Well, that's normally a relationship to a woman, but that's what you do. A year is your limit and kicked them out," Marcus said.

He growled.

He said nothing back, and Marcus walked out of his office. He got a mind link from Nina

"Alpha, I suggest you get your a** over her, your girlfriend. has just walked over here yelling and slapping my daughter across her face. " Nina said.

WHAT? he roared.

He ran very fast to the house, Charlie had her by the arm dragging her away.

"What the hell is wrong with you? "he heard Charlie shouting at her.

"You hit my friend again, and you're dead." Charlie he said.

Charlie turned to see him. "boss sorry" she said. No, you're right, Charlie. He grabbed Daisy, OFFICE NOW! but baby , it's ALPHA THORNWICK TO YOU, HIS OFFICE NOW!.

He saw Mia claws out.

"She's a shifter, but i can't smell her full scent." Pyrite said.

He grabbed Daisy, turned her round apologies now, or he will let Charlie hit you and trust him she's stronge.

"Or me, I'm Delta blooded, and i will kicked your a**". Amiee said.

Her eyes went wide. "Im sorry I shouldn't have hit you, Mia. I was upset and took it out on you. " Daisy said.

He looked at Mia. Mia, you okay? she just nodded. Sorry. He dragged Daisy away, straight into his office.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?

"You want her back?" she stated.

Even if he did or didn't, that's not your concern. Daisy, we are not in a relationship. We are done, no more s*x between us, and if you go near Mia and her family again. He will demote your father and brother.

She stormed out of the office, he mind linked Charlie "yes boss?" she's said. Let him know if she returns. She just left his office mad again.

"I'm still here, boss, helping unpack." Good, is Mia okay?

"Yes, she's fine, just p***ed off, but she didn't see her coming. I don't think she expected to have anyone here want to hit her. " Charlie said.

No one would. Everyone liked Mia. He cut the link. Got through some paperwork, realised it was lunchtime. Went down to the dining hall. She was here sat with her family and his unit.

Hello again, Mia. Alpha, she said. He wanted her to say Thorn. He misses it. He got himself a plate and sat on the other side of the table by himself, giving her some space. He looked up, and it's Wyatt sitting in front of him.

"Hello Alpha." Hello again, Wyatt. what can he do for you?

"We don't know how long we are staying, but i would like to join the pack school?. I've only ever been to humans' school." he said.

Yes, of course you can, but they is only a week left before the school breaks up for two weeks. but if it's okay with your mom. turning to look at her.

"She said yes if that's what i want." Wyatt said.

Would you like him to show you around?. "Yes, Alpha, if you have the time?" Why wouldn't he?

"My mom told me the Alpha of a pack are very busy," he said.

Well, yes, she is right, but he's not the current Alpha in charge of a pack, and so he is not as busy.

"Who is it?" he asked.

That would be his Father Alpha Channing. " So you can show me around yourself?" Yes, Wyatt, he can.

Well, finish your dinner, then he can show you the school. He looked at Mia again. She looked like she wanted to cry or scream. We finished our food. It's not far 10 mins walk. Mia joined us, being this close to her. He just wanted to touch her.

He explained that this is the primary school and another 15-minute walk down the path. They are the high school. We walked around the primary school. Hello Mr Cooper.

"Oh my Miss Jones, how lovely to see you again?" he smiled.

"You too, Mr Cooper. This is my son Wyatt he would like to join the school while we are visiting if that is okay?". she asked. Mr Cooper looked at him.

"If it's okay with the Alpha, it's okay with me." Mr Cooper said.

"Yes, he says it's fine." He laughed "forward, aren't we?" Mr Cooper said .

"Yes, mom says you don't get anywhere being silent." Wyatt said.

He remembers her saying that himself.

"Are you friends with my mom?" Wyatt asked.

He was when we were younger, yes. "Are you not now?" he asked. No, he was hurtful to your mom, and he has some making up to do to her. "Good luck, mom, stubbon." Wyatt stated.

She was smiling, "Why don't you go check out the classroom, and I'll get you a uniform?" she said.

"What are you doing?" she asked him.

What, Mia? he is just trying to help.

"Back off, you know what Thornwick, I mean, Alpha, please he doesn't need to get to know you, and you don't need to make anything up to me, we are nothing to each. You're an Alpha, and I'm an old pack member returning for a few weeks, nothing more. so please stop." She said.

Sorry he overstepped. 'Yes, you did.' She was frowning.

"Mia, the uniform is down here," said Mr. Cooper. "Thank you. Is that everything you need, Wyatt?" she asked.

"Mom, can I have a backpack?" Wyatt pleaded. "You have a bag?" she confirmed. "It doesn't have the pack logo on it," Wyatt pleaded again.

"Okay. how much is that all together?" she said.

She pulled out her bank card. "Oh no, Mia, you don't pay for the uniform." Mr Cooper said. She looked confused. "I remember my parents paying for our uniform when we went here." she said.

"Alpha, please?" Mr Cooper said. Mr Cooper needed help. It's just a present from him to the boy, a welcome gift to the pack.

"No, thank you, it's fine . I'll pay for my sons uniform. " She said.

"How much please 80 all together, thank you," she said. "Thank you for the tour of the school, but we are going to see my father now." She said. He'll walk you both to the pack hospital.

"NO please Alpha just stop. We are good. Please go back to work." she said. Please can we have a meeting later? we need to talk to Mia.

"Fine, I'll come tonight when Wyatt is in bed, about 8 pm." she said.

How's about a meal?.

"No, it's a quick conversation, not a date, that all we are doing, and I don't want to see you for the rest of my time here." she said.

She walked away, He could feel sadness roll of his wolf, "she hates us, doesn't she?" Pyrite said. Yep, buddy, she does. Pyrite went to the back of his mind and curled up, hiding his face.

He walked back to his office, and Marcus came in and sat down. "How did it go?" he asked. It went fine. he showed Wyatt the school got his uniform, and they both went to see your father.

"Yeh, she told me," Marcus exhaled. "Back of Thornwick, she's not the same person as she was when she lived her. She is stronger, wiser this time. " He said.

Do you hate him, Marcus?. Marcus looked up and frowned.

"No, Thornwick, I don't. You are my best friend and my Alpha, but you did my sister over. You broke her heart, and you won't do it again. She left because of you, she raised her son away from her, her family, because you couldn't pull your head out of your a** and accept she was wolfless, " Marcus said.

She's not wolfless now.

"No, she's not, but she was at the time, and you would rather lose the love of your life to make your father happy." Marcus stated.

He's not that person anymore. "Yes, I will give you that. You are better at sticking up for yourself when it comes to your father, " he said. We still love her, Marcus.

"I know you do, Alpha, but what if your father still won't accept her? What will you do then?"

He was challenging him. He didn't know what to say. His succession to Alpha is in a week time. Marcus just walked out knowing the answer.
