She would be lying if she said it didnt hurt Wyatt saying "I hate you" because it did hurt but she knew he was just confused and hurt that she lied to him, he can't understand why she won't get back together with his father.

Then he had to turn up, didn't he. shoving his nose in where it wasn't wanted. She did appreciate the backup, but she's been doing this for almost 10 years. She doesn't need his help. Bloody man made her blush with his compliment, she had to leave, she quickly walked back to the house.

Sometime later she heard a knock, Hi Joe, how are you?

"Fine. Alpha sent me. "

She needs to set up all her recording equipment. She didn't know if it would be too much for the house. She had a studio built for her at her own house with a generator so it could take it, her house was old.

"It should be fine. I'll help you set it up. I can go get a generator if not, but this is a brand new house, so it should be fine." Joe said. Thanks

We finished setting everything up, didnt take long. "Everything is fine. Mia il leave you to record, " Joe said. Thanks again.

"No problem, will you be at the service this evening?" he asked. Yes, she will,

"Have they asked you to sing?"

No, but if they do, she doesn't mind. "How's your father?."

He's okay on the mend but feels guilty.

"No need to be. it wasn't his fault. It's the life we live, unfortunately being different. People kill what they don't understand or fear. " he replied.

She did some recording and answered some emails from her manager. Amiee returned,

"How did it go on school?".

Well, Wyatt said he hates her because she won't get back together with his father, the man he doesn't even know anything about. Then Thornwick shows up being all supportive told Wyatt to not speak to her like he did. Then, to top it off, complimented her on how Wyatt and she looked. Made her blush to the i***t.

"Okay, that's it, I'll go s***h him now, shall i? How dare he support your parenting? just show up on the first day of school in his own pack and compliment your good looks. " Amiee said, teasing her.

She throws a cushion at her. You're so not funny. Amiee was laughing. "i am,". Why is he acting like this?.

"Well, don't shoot the messenger, but i think he's trying to show you the person he used to be, not the person who drove you away."

She didn't want that, why can't he just stay away.

"You don't? you've fancied that man since you were a teenager. Mia, you can't fool me or anyone else for that matter."

Yes, she did once, then he broke her heart into a million pieces, and she raised our son without him.

"Mia, you either need to let it go and give him another chance or move on to someone else. This in-between isn't good for anyone. " she said

Wyatt got home from school. How was your first day? "It was good."

How did your chat go with your dad? "Okay, I just wanted to know his intention and his side of things.". His side of things? what did he say?

"The same as you, he said it was all him, he was young and he wanted please his father and he knows that was the wrong choice. He doesn't deserve you or I. " he said.

She didn't know what to say to that, okay, go get washed up and change into your suit. We have Conner service soon.

It's okay. You had your reasons, all forgiven, but thank you for saying it anyway. She felt better herself him saying it.

The service was nice. Everyone got to say goodbye to give their funny stories of Connor growing up in the pack. We all went to Conners' favourite bar in town to toast to him. Mia Jones, Hello, Toni hugging her.

"How long has it been?" 10 long years Toni.

"Well, I've missed you and your singing voice." Toni said. She laughed, just switched on the radio and you"ll hear her, she laughed again.

"Will you sing with us? "she paused, erm of course, like old times.

She used to sing in the music class group when at school the four of them would sing any chance they got. She actually missed it, was fun, one of the things she missed about her old life.

She sang with the group and sang some of their old stuff they did in school . It was nice. She felt like no time had passed. Charlie asked her to sing one of her early songs, an 8 year old song called "Loss," and it was fitting for this moment, but it was about Thornwick, and the look on his face he knew it as well.

After she was done, She went outside and she could feel the tears coming.She felt hands on her shoulders knew it was her brother.

"Breath, sis."

She knows it came out a little shakey. He isn't out here, is he? "No. inside he wanted to. I stopped him." Thank you.

She probably would have cried if it was Thorn. She pulled herself together. Let's get a drink, shall we. We went back inside. Amiee had a drink and a shot waiting for her. Thank you.

"You looked like you needed it," She does.

"Sorry, Mia, i didn't want you to be upset," Charlie said.

No, it's fine. It's been a long time time since she sang that song, loads of old feeling when she wrote it came flooding back, wasn't expecting it, that's all.

"Who was it about mom?" Wyatt asked. just someone she used to know. Then, he looked at Thornwick he was frowning, yep, he knew.

She danced all night, She always danced, probably a little too naughty with Alton, but we always danced like it had never bothered Thornwick before, but clearly it did tonight. She's never been attracted to Alton or him her. We both just like to dance and have fun.She walked back over to the table, grabbed her drink, downed it, and he had a face like thunder.

Well, she'll have another drink then while someone takes the stick out of our all - mighty and powerful Alphas a** here, bowing at him. She could hear laughter behind her. She was a bit sluggish. She was running and kept getting little flashbacks from last night, then she remembered. Oh no, she didn't really say all that to him?. s**t he will kick her out now.

He has a lot more muscles, definitely an 8 pack now, a broader frame, his hair is shorter, and a little beard. Her eyes worked her way up to his face he was smiling.

He started moving his nose down her cheek, her jaw line all those light bond tingles. "I want you to remember the feel and the taste of our kiss.". He was just in front of her lips, and he kissed her.

It took a few seconds, but she couldn't help it. She kissed him back, slow and tender like he used to, and the kiss was getting stronger, deeper. His hands were all over my body. Thorn she mourned. that was it with that one word. She knew always excited him. He growled.

Her sports bra was opened, and as it unzipped at the front, now thinking that was a bad choice of clothing.He kissed her neck and started to suck on her n*****s. He picked her up, pushing her against the tree. His hands went through her shorts, his fingers straight into her entrance. She mourned she couldn't help it he always knew how to touch her.

She kissed him back she was thrusting her hips at him, "Thorn please" and with those words her shorts were off her sports bar completely off and he shrugged out of his shorts, he pushed straight through her, her head fell back against the tree. She quickly got dressed and started walking away. He was running after her.
