Lala felt better after a week’s rest. She got up from bed for the first time with Leonardo by her side to assist her. She wanted to see Em and her baby who is now a month old. Victory is bigger than the coke liter size she was when Leopold first saw and held her in his arms. Hi, baby!, you’re a cutie, Lala said gently pinching baby Victory on her swinging cradle in Em and Leopold’s room, the guest room, near the kitchen. Maxim left for India early in the morning and brought him to the airport to board the royal family’s jet plane. Four securities were with him to protect and assist him with the travel. Since Lala is still recuperating, Leonardo and her couldn’t join the king for the conference in India. Leonardo and Waldo will be following Maxim to help him in his meetings there after both men have finished sorting out the jobs and responsibilities they’re advised to do. Lala is feeling better and Tessa will be assisting her from now on since Leonardo will be away for a week after tomorrow.
Rest now Lala, your dad called three times already and maybe you should contact him soon. He is deeply worried about you, Tessa added while helping Lala on her bed. Okay, thanks. I am really sorry for being a burden for you and the family. I really feel useless and I am so ashamed I haven’t gone out to help you out especially now that Victory is here and making everyone busy and tired, Lala almost teary eyed. There, there, don’t you worry, girl!, when you’re in good health you can help us out but for now, off you go and sleep!, Tessa replied smiling lovingly at the girl who smiled back and diligently slipped into the sheet and closed her eyes. Lala still feel weak but she can eat on her won now and knows that she’ll be up and about in no time.
Tessa turned the light dim at Lala’s room and head out to check on Em. Em is also sleeping from the night wake up calls when the baby wakes up. Everytime baby Victory does that, everyone is like running here and there to help out with making the milk or taking out the dirty nappies. It is a happy and wonderful family to be in. Em could only smile and cry at the same time with how lucky she is to have a loving and fun family.
Gisel woke up when Lala yelled out and cried aloud. Lala!, what happened?
Oww, aaaaahhh, ouchhhhhh!, my tummy hurts so bad!, Lala complained while pressing her hands onto her stomach. Gisel is worried about the situation and called out for the family doctor. Hang on Lala, I’ll call our doctor to check on you.
Doctor Stevens is a new doctor living in Polynesia but he had been checking on Gisel since she came and lived in MV Mansion. This is the first time she contacted him again after 10 years since she didn’t have to, because she never ages anyway and never gets sick at all now.
Leopold and Victoria were taking naps and turns on caring for the baby. And they heard about Lala too but couldn’t leave Em and the baby. Mom, I’ll take it from here and rest. Em woke up and I’ll be the one to get her some dinner. Do you want coffee or tea?, Leopold said politely. It’s okay dear, I’ll just head up and sleep for a bit, Victoria answered smiling at the yong man.
Baby Victory is a good and kind child. She never crys much but only does when she’s hungry after every four hours. Now since she’s more than a month old, she doesn’t cry often but smiles and giggles when she hears Em and Leopold’s voices. As if she is excited to listen and to her parents voices every time they talk to her and hum a song for her to sleep.
The doctor came in and checked Lala. He advised her to rest but she needs to take ultrasound checks soon to determine why she’s having stomach cramps and pains. Gisel called out to Michael, Lala’s dad and the man advised to come over to Polynesia the day after tomorrow. He is caught up in a conference where he is the organizer and needed to help Maxim on the conference with the leaders of the world. Lala understood and she knew how important his dad’s work is. He is a business man with a heart and he knows what he is doing. Gisel then reminded him of Lala’s laboratory tests by then and ultrasounds to know what the cause of her tummy aches and pains.
Em woke up and Leopold is already on her side with her dinner ready for her to eat. A warm chicken soup and soft bagette sliced for her to munch on with a hot milk for he for her to sleep better since she’s been having night sweats due to night mares when she delivered baby Victory. Em have overcome these dreams but there are times she still experience them once and a while. Thank you babe, I am happy you’re here. And please take care of yourself, since I know it’s been tiresome taking care of baby Victory day and night, Em said apologetically. Hey, don’t you worry, I am happy to do this for you and for baby, for our family. Just eat and rest after. When you’re all recovered, we can help each other raise and care for baby together, Leopold smiled assuring her everything is alright since they have each other. Em smiled and kissed Leopold on the cheek for being sweet. She never saw him this excited and happy for her and their family. Indeed they are a totally complete family with their new born child with them at long last, safely. Thanks to Victory, the future version of their child when she came back to visit and warn them about the threat to their lives. I just hope the terrorists who attacked them before will stop not that dad’s already king and that he had been helping his citizens and the world including the terrorists groups who grew to love him and who were against him before he embraced the Monfort Crown, the Throne for Tunisia and the world, Em thought while preparing to rest for a bit to help Leopold later when he needs to sleep too to take over the responsibility to care for their baby. Leopold went out to let his wife rest and check on baby after he was able to clean the dishes and stack them properly on the cabinets.
Hi, how are you holding on? Gisel asked Leopold who got surprised that at this late, a family is still up. Oh, Nana, I am good, why? You’re still awake, why? Can’t sleep?, Leopold sitting on the kitchen high chair. Ahhh, I slept for a couple of hours while Tessa’s looking out for Lala. Both of them are already sleeping in Lala’s room. You know, take a nap and I’ll take the round to check up on Victory. Go on and rest!, Gisel said lovingly to help Leopold take some time off for he had been losing sleep three days in a row since Maxim left for India.
Okay, Nana, you, sure? Leopold asked while taking the last gulp of pineapple juice he was drinking while washing the plates a couple of minutes ago. I am one hundred percent sure!
Leopold then walked on the sofa and pulled the built in bed under it and laid his tired body down. It didn’t take a minute and he is already snoring on the sofa bed. Hmm!, poor young man. But my Em is so lucky to have a loving and sweet fellow like him, Gisel said to herself and went straight to Em’s room to check up on baby Victory. The cute little angel is asleep. It’s almost ten in the evening and Gisel feels the need to drink something like coffee or tea to keep her awake. ‘It’s going to be a long night.’, Gisel whispered and walked out of Em’s room to make coffee. When the kettle boiled, she poured a cup and got her some instant brewed one and added a little milk and a pinch of sugar. She went back to Em’s room and turned the tiny television on. Since this room is for guests, they added T.V., mini fridge and mini bar. She is now experiencing the feel of a guest in her own home, and it felt great. Haha!, Gisel laughed while sipping her coffee and watching a Polynesian comedy. She had been living in this part of the country for a decade and it seemed like just yesterday. She didn’t learn the language instantly and it took her about three years to learn how to speak Polynesian, but she preferred speaking English than speak it. Though her neighbours never spoke to her, she always invited them when special occasions happen in the family but they never returned the call and turned her invitation down almost all of the time. Anyway, it’s okay since I didn’t know them personally it’s for the best I guess and for the safety of everybody especially my family, now that they’re living with me.
Uwahh, waahhh, uwahh!!, baby Victory cried on the top of her tiny lungs. Ohhh!, Gisel almost threw the cup of coffee down somewhere, stood instantly and ran towards the baby. She prepeared the bottle, poured the milk on it, shook it and gave the bottle to Victory who quickly sucked it lavishly. Oh, my dear, you’re hungry huh!, cutie baby, Gisel added kissing Victory on the forehead. She smelled refreshing like the baby oil and powder Em and Leopold put on her. Hmmmm!, my little baby smells nice, drink well and sleep after okay, mwahhh!, Gisel whispered to the the girl that when she finished the bottle, she instantly dozed off. Gisel touched her tiny fingers and went to get her chair to sit beside the baby’s crib. There is also a medium sized sofa near it, so Gisel decided to lay her back on it and suddenly felt sleepiness taking over her.
Everyone are sound asleep now. Victory awoke when she felt someone touched her little hand. It is a beautiful lady. Beatrice appeared like a shining fairy in front of the girl. Victory is smiling and giggling wanting to reach out for the bright light surrounding Beatrice, her great great grandmother after Nana. Hi, baby, so precious and beautiful. Take this gift I give you, power, eternal beauty, wisdom, prosperity and mind control. You will never perish and will always win battles against your enemy. I am her for you just like your family. I am sorry that your dad and grandfather will need to go away to some heavenly place because you need to lead the people, the world, to the new earth, the new people led by good and peace, prosperity and love, Beatrice explained and blew Victory a kiss which made her shine when her aura changed from white to rainbow colours.
