-Bella- “You don’t have to do this, Carter,” I insisted as I was led through the woods. The sun had just come up, but I wasn’t shivering from the cold. It was the gun pointed at the back of my head that made me tremble. I walked with my hands slightly raised, showing I wasn’t trying anything, while keeping my eyes on the ground in front of me. Carter guided me through the forest, maneuvering us around the patrols.
