Immortal HER and Mortal HIM: finding Lucifer and concurring love

Leila's POV Standing in the doorway looking at my beautiful baby girl whilst she is sleeping peacefully after a long and perfect day. Knowing that this will be the last normal day of her life. As I stand there I think back to the 3 happiest moments of my life. The first being they Day I met the love of my life, my mate. The second is the day I found out I was pregnant with Isla and the third is the day that she was born. I am so lost in my memories that I did not realize that Lucifer, my mate was standing behind me until he wrapped his arms around me. Turning in his arms I wrap my arms around his waist and bury my face in his chest to feel his warmth and smell his intoxicating scent of sandelwood and oranges like I have a million times before but knowing this will be the last time I will have this comfort breaks my heart even more and I silently sob uncontrollably as I don't want Isla to be wake for what is about to happen. Looking up at Lucifer's face I can see the same pain in his eyes that I know is in mine right at this moment. Bending down he lays a soft kiss on my lips that soon turns into a kiss of desperation , he picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist as he walks toward our room. As soon as my back hits the bed we start ripping at each other's clothes al while not once breaking our kiss. Once we are both n***d he positions himself between my legs and looks deep in my eyes while pushing into me. I wake up with the sun streaming through the window as I am laying there thinking about last night, Isla comes running into my room and jumps on the bed. "mommy! Mommy! Look what daddy gave me!" holding out her little hand to show me the ring that is on her index finger "he said I should never take it off and that it will grow with me as I get bigger" as I am looking at the beautiful band on her finger she reaches out and touch the necklace around my neck that I didn't know was there " did daddy give you a present to mommy?" she ask as it is one she has never seen before. I touch the necklace and I'm reminded that he is truly gone and that I have to break my sweet little girl's heart by telling her that her father will not be coming back. I take her small hands in mine and I say "Isla, sweetheart it is very important that do exactly as daddy said and never take that off" she looks at me with confusion on her face and asks "why?" I sigh and say " because honey that ring and this necklace will keep you and me save while daddy is away" I can see the tears forming in her eyes as she realizes that her father is gone. I gather her in my arms and hold her close as she cries breaking my heart even more as cries for her daddy. After a few hours of crying she eventually falls asleep in my arms and I lay her down on the bed and silently walk out of the room to set all the plans that have been in place for this very day in motion. I walk into the kitchen and make myself a cup of coffee while dialing number I wished I never had to use. After the third ring the line connects and I hear the voice I have been hearing for the last 10years for the last time. "love are you there?" Lucifer said and I cry "yes I am" I replied trying to calm myself down as not to wake Isla before everything is set "did you tell her?" he asks I sigh and say "I told her that the ring and necklace you gave us will protect us while you are away. I did not have it in me to break her even more than that." "oh love wish you didn't have to do it at all but we both knew what would of happened if I stayed and levi found out about her, I would rather her grow up without me that not have her grow up at all. And besides love, this won't be forever and you know that" I sigh running my hand down my face "I know and I know what I have to do I just wish I can kill that f*****g vampire for making a deal with levi." just thinking about what I am going to do to the person that caused this whole mess, give me that strength to stand up from the kitchen table and start pack everything we will need. Lucifer chuckles in the other end off the line as he can hear the anger in my voice " I know love, when you feel like giving up just think off what you will do to him, use that anger to keep going. Everything will be fine. Just remember, even if I am not there right next to you, I am never far from you. Just be the strong women I know you are my love" While listening to him speak I have managed to pack everything and load it into the car had I purchased in cash the week prior, I sit down on the steps outside before collecting a sleeping Isla from my bed " I know, I will be strong for you and for her, I will make sure she is safe until she is ready to train. I promise you we will find you no matter how long it takes, no matter how many I have to kill I will find you and we will be a family again... I love you Lucifer and I will miss you everyday until you are back where you belong." " I love you too my love, I will patiently wait for the day that I have you back in my arms. I will miss you both so f*****g much" he says and then the line goes dead I just there while the tears stream down my face. After 5 minutes I wipe my face and stand to go back into the house, as I turn around I hear a twig snap behind me without turning around I say. "I know you are there dad, I am going to go grab Isla and put her in the car, can you please grab those cans and make sure everything burns to the ground?" I hear him chuckle as I walk back inside to go grab my daughter. Once Isla is settled in the back seat I turn to my dad and I see that he is holding matches in his hand and he ask" do you want to or shall I? " I look at the house one last time and open the car door and say" burn it" he strikes the match and tosses it at the house and turns and walks toward the driver's side and gets in. As we are driving away and the last of the sun's rays fades from the sky, I look in the side mirror and see the home that we created go up in flames I am reminded that nothing will ever be the same again until Lucifer is back with us "I am not going to ask if you are OK because I can see that you are not but I am going to ask if you are ready?" my dad asks me. I take one last look at the house burning and turn to him and say "no I am not OK but I am ready, ready to make every single one responsible for all of this pay. I am ready to take there lives without a second thought just like they have taken my daughter's father away from her." I know I have shocked my father with my response as he stays quite for a moment then says" let's get you two girls home and then we will make them pay"
