Kristopher Moussaka lowered his phone and frowned. "She declined it... again." He was still standing outside the Competition Hall with William, Josh and Paul. "That's not like Sienna," William said quietly. Kristopher shook his head. "No." "She promised she'd text me when she got home." He tried calling once more. The phone rang only briefly before the call was declined again. His stomach tightened. "Something's wrong." Josh folded his arms. "Maybe she just wants some space." "I know Sienna," Kristopher replied. "If she wanted space, she'd at least send a message saying she was okay." Paul nodded. "That's true." Kristopher looked down at his phone. He reread the message he'd sent. «Sea, please just let me know you're safe. I don't care where you are—I'll come and get you.» Still no reply. William placed a hand on his shoulder. "What are you thinking?" Kristopher didn't hesitate. "I'm going to find her." Josh looked surprised. "You don't even know where she is." Kristopher picked up his car keys. "I know where she'd try to go." "Home." "And if she's not there..." "I'll keep looking until I find her." William smiled. "I'll come with you." "So will I," said Paul. Josh grinned. "No way are you three leaving me behind." Kristopher smiled for the first time since Sienna had walked away. "Thanks." The four friends hurried across the nearly empty school car park. As Kristopher started the car, only one thought filled his mind. "Please be okay, Sea.Please , if something happened..." Kristopher pulled up outside the white gates of Hart Estate and lowered his window. One of the security guards approached the driver's side. "Good afternoon. Can I help you?" Kristopher nodded. "Yes. I'm looking for Sienna Hart." The guard frowned. "Sienna... Hart?" The second guard looked equally puzzled. "Who's that?" Kristopher stared at them in disbelief. "The middle Hart child." "Mr. and Mrs. Hart's daughter." The first guard blinked. "We know Miss Willow Hart..." "And Master Jordan Hart..." "But..." He looked at his colleague. "I don't think we've ever met a Miss Sienna Hart." Kristopher's expression hardened. "You stopped a fifteen-year-old girl carrying a crystal trophy and a certificate earlier today, didn't you?" Realisation slowly spread across the guard's face. "The girl who said she lived here?" "Yes." "That was Sienna." Both guards looked at each other in shock. "We... we honestly didn't know. we are New we only know Willow and Jordan" "We'd never been introduced to her." Kristopher let out a slow breath, trying to keep his frustration under control. "Where did she go?" The first guard pointed towards the coastal road. "She walked away." "We apologised, but without identification we couldn't let her through." Kristopher nodded once. "I understand you were following procedure." He paused before adding quietly, "But next time..." "If a young girl says she's a Hart...maybe call someone" "Please make sure you know who all the Hart children are in the future." The guards lowered their heads. "Yes, sir." Kristopher drove away slowly. William glanced across from the passenger seat. "You know where she is, don't you?" Kristopher looked towards the cliffs. A sad smile crossed his face. "I've got a feeling..." "I know exactly where Sea went.” Kristopher turned the car onto the narrow coastal track, leaving the road behind just before the Estate. William looked out of the window. "Where are we going?" Kristopher smiled sadly. "To the only place she'll go when her heart is broken." The track wound along the cliffs until an old wooden shack appeared in the distance. A small lantern hanging above the door cast a warm golden glow into the fading afternoon. Outside, an old fishing net hung from a weathered post, swaying gently in the sea breeze. Inside the little shack were only a few simple things—a worn wooden bench, an old table, blankets folded in the corner, and an old surfboard leaning against the wall, left behind by someone years ago. It wasn't much. But to Sienna... It was a place where the world felt quiet. William looked around in amazement. "I've lived here my whole life and never knew this place existed." "That's because hardly anyone does," Kristopher replied. Josh folded his arms. "So why do you?" Kristopher looked at the little shack, memories filling his mind. "Sienna and I found it when we were nine." The others stayed silent as he continued. "It was the day one of the butlers told her that her beloved cat, Rose, had passed away." He looked down at the ground. "Rose wasn't just a pet." "She was Sienna's best friend." "When everyone else was too busy, Rose would curl up beside her while she painted." "When she died..." "Sienna didn't know where to go." "So we ran." "We ended up walking along the cliffs until we found this little shack." He smiled softly. "We sat here until sunset." "She cried herself to sleep on my shoulder." William quietly shook his head. "And you've kept it a secret ever since?" Kristopher nodded. "It became our place." "No bullying." "No pressure." "No Willow." "No expectations." "Just the sea..." "...and somewhere Sienna could breathe." He stepped out of the car and looked towards the porch. There, sitting beneath the warm glow of the little lantern, was Sienna. She hugged her knees tightly to her chest. Her crystal trophy rested beside her. She was gazing silently across the endless ocean. As if hoping the waves could carry away all the hurt she had been carrying for years. Kristopher smiled sadly. "I knew I'd find you, Sea." Without looking around, Sienna whispered, "I knew you'd know where to look." The sea continued to crash against the cliffs below, while the little shack—their secret place since they were nine years old—welcomed them home once again.
