The girl that nobody sought
Some people disappear in a single moment.
Others disappear a little at a time.
So slowly that no one notices until they're already gone.
Two weeks before her sixteen years old birthday , Sienna Hart had become an expert at being invisible.
Sienna Hart was the kind of girl most people would walk past without a second glance.
She stood only five feet two inches tall, making her the smallest member of the Hart family. Her short black hair framed a soft, youthful face, while her bright blue eyes held a quiet depth that seemed to notice everything around her. Around her neck she always wore a simple shell necklace, a gift she treasured more than anything else she owned.
Unlike the rest of her family, Sienna never cared about expensive clothes or the latest fashion.
She preferred oversized hoodies, worn jeans and comfortable trainers splattered with tiny flecks of dried paint. Her hands were almost always stained with charcoal, pencil graphite or acrylic paint from hours spent drawing and creating.
She rarely spoke unless someone asked her a question.
Even then, her voice was gentle and almost apologetic, as though she didn't want to interrupt anyone else's conversation.
Most people mistook her silence for shyness.
The truth was much sadder.
After years of being overlooked, forgotten and spoken over, Sienna had simply stopped believing her voice mattered.
Art became the one place where she could finally be heard.
When she held a pencil or paintbrush, the quiet girl disappeared.
Every emotion she couldn't say aloud appeared on a canvas instead.
Every memory.
Every dream.
Every heartbreak.
She could spend hours painting without realising time had passed.
Nature fascinated her.
Animals inspired her.
Mountains, oceans and sunsets filled the pages of her sketchbooks.
She didn't just paint what she saw.
She painted what she felt.
Despite everything she had been through, Sienna remained kind.
She never held grudges.
She celebrated other people's success even when nobody celebrated hers.
She believed every person had a story worth listening to.
Ironically...
Almost nobody had ever taken the time to listen to hers.
Hidden beneath her quiet smile was extraordinary talent.
A talent recognised by her favourite teacher, Mrs Bullmastiff, who encouraged her to enter every art competition she could.
Yet every trophy she brought home gathered dust in her bedroom while the rest of the family celebrated someone else.
She dreamed of becoming a world-famous artist one day.
Not for money.
Not for fame.
But because she hoped that somewhere...
Someone might look at one of her paintings...
And finally see her.
Most people couldn't describe her if they tired.
Teacher would forget to call on her,
Classmate walke past her without a second glance,
Even at home, conversations seem to flow around her instead of including her.
Unlike her older sister Willow Hart had the kind of beauty that turned heads the moment she entered a room.
Long golden-blonde hair fell neatly over her shoulders, always perfectly styled. Her bright blue eyes carried confidence that bordered on arrogance, and a small birthmark high on her left cheek somehow made her look even more distinctive. She stood just over five feet seven, with a graceful figure she maintained through strict routines and expensive fitness programmes.
She dressed as though every day was a photoshoot.
Designer clothes.
Perfect make-up.
Not a single hair out of place.
Everything about Willow seemed polished.
She was the family's golden child.
The daughter Alexander and Pearl proudly introduced to business partners and guests.
The one whose achievements decorated the walls of the estate.
Captain of the debate team.
Four-time World Debate Champion.
Accepted into Yale University to study Law before deciding her future lay elsewhere.
Teachers admired her.
Adults praised her.
Strangers complimented her.
She had grown up believing success came naturally to her.
But beneath the polished appearance lived someone constantly chasing perfection.
Willow hated sharing attention.
If someone else was praised, she found a way to make the conversation about herself.
If someone achieved something greater than she had, jealousy quietly crept into her smile.
No one suffered more because of that jealousy than Sienna.
From the age of five, Willow constantly reminded her younger sister that she would never be as talented, as beautiful or as successful.
Every compliment Sienna received was met with criticism.
Every success was dismissed.
Every dream was laughed at.
For years, Willow convinced herself that keeping Sienna in the shadows was simply the way things should be.
She never realised...
The brightest light can sometimes cast the darkest shadow.
Sienna was not the jealous,
She simply wished someone remember she exists, She didn't know doesn't know it yet but before the tree that turn to maple colour in the end of Autumn, the entire town would know who Sienna Hart is
Because she would become the girl that everyone sees finally believes that she is truly loved, Wanted and finally worthy of being part of the Harts.
As night settled over the Hart Estate, every light in the mansion slowly went out.
Pearl had already prepared for another early morning meeting.
Alexander was buried in another book.
Willow was watching fashion shows while planning her future.
Jordan had fallen asleep with a game controller still in his hands.
And Sienna...
Sienna sat quietly by the window in her small room overlooking the cliffs.
The moonlight spilled across her sketchbook as she gently turned another page.
Every blank sheet held endless possibilities.
Places she had never seen.
People she had never met.
Dreams she wasn't sure would ever come true.
She picked up her pencil and began sketching a lone figure standing at the edge of a cliff, staring out towards a horizon that seemed to stretch forever.
She didn't know why she drew it.
It simply felt right.
As the final pencil stroke touched the page, she whispered the words she had never dared say aloud.
"One day..."
"I'm going to see the whole world."
Outside, the wind carried her quiet promise into the darkness.
She had no idea...
That promise would become the beginning of the greatest journey of her life.
