Chapter 17 The Info

---Sandy's POV---

I can't help but pacing back and forth because I can't seem to think about anything else but my best friend and of course my mate who is sticking his neck out on the line for me and my friend.. but hopefully everything will work out in his favor and mine.

I have my fingers crossed making my hands and nuckles white from the strength I'm using just out of complete nervousness.. I can't help but feeling as if a path is soon to be carved out from the floor at my continuous pace over the same spots.. but I don't have far to go to... but I have farther to go than my friend who is trapped and that's what gives me the strength to be here and try to help anyway I can. If not me then who is going to do it.. It's a lot to ask someone to help her especially of the new guy that liked her.. since they had only just met, but he might be her only shot and I won't miss out at trying to help her out if I can.

I finally hear the bedroom door opening as I quickly turn around to see my mate looking stressed out, with his eyes wide and bouncing around the room. He shuts the door behind him as he leans against it, letting out a deep breath.

I quickly run to him as I ask out of straight concern for his safety. "Are you ok my love?" He nods at me as he wraps his one arm around me body then kissing my forehead before walking past me not saying a word.

"Well what happened?" I anxiously inquire from him as he turns around glancing at me before sitting down on our bed. I get to the front of him as I kneel down, setting my hands to his lap, making sure he knows I'm awaiting an answer as nicely as I can.

He let's out another deep breath as he begins. "So I went into his office just letting myself in since he wasn't currently in there. I had a look around and didn't find anything out in the open so that's when I really had to start investigating." He states to me as he let's out another deep breathe. I can tell that there is something more to this but I need to know what, so I just wait patiently for him to continue.

"I started looking through his drawers and found his planner and for yesterday it's circled with a T and 12:30 In the middle of the circle.. I'm assuming that's when he had his meeting with the Trader.. but there was still no information on how to contact him. So I looked around more through his desk and shelves to find nothing. So I went to his computer because I know his password from watching him plug it in for years now. I get in looking around searching for anything I can think of, with no results that will help us.. Until I search just the capital T like he had it in his planner and that's when I started seeing dates for a meet up and everything.. I kept searching further into the information, finding a website address and email address but no number.. so I put in the website and it took me to the dark web."He says even more nervously, swallowing the lump in his throat, but I have no idea what that actually means.

"What's the dark web?.. I don't understand." I say to him before he continues. "It's a place where you go to find or maybe get rid of lots of things.. one of them being people.. but also weapons and other hard to get things.." He explains to me as I nod feeling my eyebrows scrunch up.

"So when I started trying to search with the Trader name, I found some information to get hold of him but one of the things was a number so I wrote that down.. but right as I was going to text it to see if we can get a response the door flew open to his office... I quickly got out of the searches and shutting his laptop before he noticed.. because he was distracted... by.." He stops acting like he doesn't know if he should say anything.

So of course I encourage him to go on. "By what baby?" He shakes his head as he adds, "not what.. but who." But that doesn't answer my question that just gains more questions.

"Then who?" I ask him wondering where this is going. "Cassandra." He states softly to me but I still don't understand. "Well what were they talking about? I don't know what she could be possibly saying to the Alpha." I state to no one in particular because I'm just thinking about what could have been talked about between them.

"They weren't talking, they were getting ready to.. f*#k.." He explains nervously to me as my mouth drops open in shock. "What?!"

I watch him nod his head at me. But I don't know what you say in response to that. He clears his throat gaining my attention again. "They were making out, hard-core and bumping into everything around the room because of being so entralled with each other.. The only reason I had enough time to get rid of the evidence of me snoooing, was because he was so enticed with her and what they were going to do.. I cleared my throat gaining his attention as they separated looking like deer in the headlights." He says to me as he runs his hand through his hair before adding, "So when he demanded why I was there, I said the only thing I could think of. That you wanted to know where we could send Evelyn's clothing.. and he yelled that it doesn't matter because she is gone now and never coming back.. so I cleared out of the office but he stopped me and told me to not say anything about this to my brother."

"Well luckily I'm not your brother.. I'm going to say something to her!" I state feeling so angry at the fact that she would do this to her boyfriend of years. I stand up but so does he, shaking his head as he puts his hands on my arms making sure I see him.

"No baby please don't.. I don't want you to be involved in this at all.. I tried to help you and I got a number that's it.. this is done.. do you hear me? You know my father is a monster and if he puts two and two together about what I was actually doing there.. He will think you're involved in breaking into his office for my sister of all people, then he will probably have you killed I guarantee it just to get rid of the lose ends.. and I can't have anything happen to you. I wouldn't forgive myself for doing this.. please promise me you're done with this? Just give the number to the guy for Evelyn and that's it.."He demands of me as I just nod and looking away. I can't lie to him but I want to help more than this... with not just his sister but also his brother now with a cheating skank of a girlfriend.. He is a good man and deserves better than that.

"Look at me Dee." He says lifting my head from under my chin until my eyes lock with his. I swallow nervously as he looks at me suspiciously. "Promise that you're done after you give the number to that guy.. Because I can see in your eyes that you want to help out everyone, but you can't.. You're already helping out with giving the number and you can't say anything to Cassie because my father would know I told you after he told me not to say anything, getting us both in trouble.. so promise me you're done please baby. I love you." He begs me again. So I groan out rolling my eyes at him knowing me too well.

"I won't say anything... until you say I can.. or it's openly known around the pack when it comes to Cassie... but I feel responsible for Evelyn, I don't know if I can turn away from helping her out more if I can.. but I won't say anything because I love you too.." I say to him as I feel my lips curling up into a smirk at the thought of him going out of his way for me like the amazing mate he is.. So I decide to add, because I know exactly where this will lead, "You know, it was very brave of you to go out of your way for me like that.. You're so brave and smart because I don't know if I could have figured out about that in his computer.. thank you my studly Alpha." I state to him as he purrs to me, and pulling me into him.

"You know I would do anything for you." He plainly states as I smile big stepping closer, closing the space between us completely. "You know I love you more than anything and appriciate all you do for me.. and.. do to me." I say to him playfully as he purrs again and picking me up into his arms before throwing me onto our bed. I squeal in excitement as I watch him jump on the bed over the top of me, causing a giggle to leave my lips, because I love this.. us.

He kisses me passionately sending my body into overdrive wanting him right here right now.. We have been trying for a kid and I feel like this could be it for some odd reason.

I take his shirt from the bottom and pulling up, breaking the kiss to get it over his head and throwing it onto the floor.. He doesn't take his time like I do, he takes my shirt into both of his hands until he pulls them apart so quickly just ripping my shirt apart, throwing the peices to the floor.

This makes me smile as I quickly undo the button on his pants, trying to help pull them down but it's hard in my position so he jumps up. Pushing the pants along with his boxer briefs to the ground, showing his ready to go member. I'm getting excited at this sight because I know what this means for me. I undo my pants as he just grabs them at the bottom then pulling them off in one swift move. This gets me purring because of course my wolf Sierra and I are loving this.
