The guys arrive about 30 minutes later with our food. They just walk right in with 2 bags of takeout. Carlo kisses me and puts the bags down on the counter, me and Ash dish out then Ash asks “you guys aren’t going to eat?” They give me a knowing look.

“ we ate while we were out waiting for you girls to get done with your girl talk.” Carlo said.

“Yeah you guys took forever!” Jackson complained.

We ate and then put a move on. Me and Carlo were cuddling up on the sofa and Jackson and Ash were whispering to each other in the corner of the sofa.

“Okay guys me and Carlo are going to bed” I say as I get up pulling Carlo by the hand.

“Oh we are?” I shake my head yes to him and we head to the bedroom.

“ goodnight guys” I shout out as I close my door.

Then I turn to Carlo with a devilish smile. “ you sir are going to finally make sweet sweet love to me. I am one hundred percent better and you no longer have an excuse do you understand me?”

“ yes ma’am” and he pulls me into his strong arms, our lips meet and sparks light up behind my eyes I missed kissing him like this. I put my hand behind his head and tug lightly on his hair as our lips move in unison biting and sucking gently. “ geese you really are a nervous nelly if you must know that was hot like freaking amazing so please quit! I liked it and I would have pushed you back if I didn’t want you to continue.”

He smiles at me “amazing was it love then we might have to do it again sometime later though”

I kinda like that idea “okay but can you please relax and be quiet I’m trying to sleep here” he laughs but doesn’t say anything else so I place my head on his chest and sigh in contentment and drift off to sleep.

(Ariel is dreaming)

I hear a woman’s voice saying “you’re the same” over and over again then she says “doppelgänger” doppelgänger what was that? Vampire diaries Elena Katherine were doppelgängers and then it clicks I remember she said I was his wife’s family and her doppelgänger omg that’s why he wanted me. Omg what if he has been watching me this whole time? He did say he has always kept an eye on his wife’s family. What if he was waiting for me? f**k what if he is the reason my husband died?

I wake up screaming and crying. “It’s okay mija she can’t get you here” Carlo try’s calming me but I shake out of his touch.

“Get away from me your a monster”

He looks shocked “what happened baby we were just fine? was it the bite? I promise I’ll never do it again if you ask me, I’m sorry”

“ it’s not the bite you puto. When were you going to tell me I’m your wife’s descendent and better yet that I am her doppelgänger? When did you start watching me and what did you do to me? How could you hide this from me? Are you the reason my husband died?”

I can’t even look at him I move as far away from him as the bed will allow and tuck my legs up and wrap my arms around them. “Ariel please listen to me, your family has been under my protection for your entire life and my guard who was watching your husband tried to save him. Only then did I take interest in you. I knew about you and I noticed the similarities when you started becoming a teen but you were with him and I would never interfere with your relationship or love”

He paused like he was waiting for me to digest what he was saying. “ I was always planning on telling you that you were her descendant I just never got the chance. I watched you grow to an amazing woman and seen the love you had for your husband so I would never do anything to hurt you. You see I never wanted you to feel the pain I felt when I lost my wife. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. When he died I took more of an interest in you and started watching at first it was to make sure you didn’t do anything to yourself. But then the more I watched you the more I wanted to know about you and then when I felt like you were getting better, I decided to just talk to you get to be your friend and I promise I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but you surprised me at every corner.”

“Carlo I just need some time please let me process this”. He just got up walked over to me and kissed my forehead.

“Please don’t leave me mija” and then he was gone.
