So today is Christmas Eve and Carlo left early this morning, Ash came over to stay the night and her and Jackson I think are dating even though they haven’t confirmed it yet. Me and Ash are in the kitchen baking cookies and making desserts for tomorrow even though it’s just us and some vampires. Jackson is on the sofa with a Christmas carol on he looks so relaxed.

Carlo returned around three in the afternoon and we all watched Christmas movies until the evening and then we all loaded up in my Srx to drive around and look at Christmas lights. We stopped at the chevron to get hot chocolate and then we drove through town looking at all the lights beautifully done and so full of Christmas spirit it warms my heart.

“That was nice it reminds of being a kid” I say as we pull in the driveway.

“It was” Ash says. Jackson and Carlo seem to be a little tense and I can’t tell why,

when Carlo says “hay I forgot I need to get some things from the store do you mind if we go to Walmart?” He gives me a look that says I should agree.

Jackson pipes up from the back “I need to go to the bathroom so I’ll see you guys when you get back” and he gets out of the car. Well that is suspect vampires don’t use the bathroom.

“I’ll go with Jackson” Ash says from the back.

So I stop her “ no come on we can get a few things and look at what is left of the Christmas stuff” she just shakes her head and we go to Walmart.

Carlo is on edge the whole time we are in the store and I can’t ask him why. I wish we were still drinking from each other so I could hear this thoughts. We spend about 20 minutes in Walmart and get a few things and head home Carlo is driving slow home so he must be giving Jackson time to do something.

When we arrive home it’s normal like nothing out of place but something is off. I don’t know what but something. So I take Carlos hand and we go to my room and when we get in I turn and face him and then I see my bed is new. “ Carlo what happened and why is my bed replaced?”

“ someone was here they broke in and Jackson fixed everything so we wouldn’t arise suspicion from Ash of it was just us we would have just waited for the all clear but I didn’t think that Ash should learn anything about us yet.”

“Okay so why is my bed new?”

“ I don’t know we will have to ask Jackson when we get a chance.” I kiss his cheek and we go back out and hang out in the living room for a few hours then me and Carlo go to bed.

The next morning is Christmas and we wake up early and open presents Carlo and Jackson love what I got them. Ash was obsessed with the makeup and leather jacket I got her. I got some makeup and clothes from Jackson and Ash, Carlo got me a diamond necklace and bracelet. I had one more present for him and pulled it out.

“ here is the last one” I hand him the small box when he opens it he looks surprised. “ they are bracelets we can wear and when we rub them the others will vibrate so we know when we are thinking of each other”

“Mija that is one of the best presents I have ever received” he smiles at me and I bend down to peck his lips but he grabs me and pulls me into his lap and kisses me with all his emotion. It’s like he is trying to make me understand his feelings for me in one kiss.

“Ahem” Ash says “enough of the pda guys. Get a room.” We break apart and I get up to start cooking. We all spend the day relaxing and me and Ash munch on everything throughout the day. That night Ash leaves because she works the morning shift at the cafe and Jackson goes with her.

Me and Carlo are finally alone and I plan on taking full advantage of it. As soon as the door closed behind Jackson I turn and throw myself at Carlo he grabs ahold of me even though he is a bit surprised. I kiss him passionately and he returns my kiss, I run my hands up his neck into his black thick hair to pull him closer to me.
