The one

Aria sat on her throne next to her mother, anger filling her veins. She was the throne room of her castle, it wasn't a big castle, nor a big room. It was made from stones, and there were torches every few feet to lit the room nicely, also, it warmed the place that contrasted with the harsh cold outside. She turned her first tightly and the fire flickered, her mother looked at her with a stern look, she let go of the fist and the lights go back to normal. There were a few villagers in front of her "... And that's when we found Arne torn to pieces, with clear bite marks. The wild ones are at it again." The king's mouth drooped into a frown "Are we sure the wild ones did it? It couldn't it have been a bear? Winter is starting and there are some left for hibernation" the same villager shook his head "the paw prints around him weren't bear ones" the king sighed and pinched his nose "they broke the pack that the council made. We need to have a meeting. Aria, get ready for the trip, and to start a war. I'll let the council know that before we get the big snowstorm we'll be there, we need to have a meeting" the king stood up "please, tonight we play and offer the gods the bodies of the villagers lost to help us slow down the snow. Make sure the town knows that we will not go down without a fight" Aria left the room, she trained her whole life to battle, and she was ready.  Thousands of miles away, far beyond the other side of the forest, howling could be heard. First one, then thousands. Anders winced, he knew that when the wolves howled there was a problem, and he feared the worst. The vampires had taken over their kingdom and all of their food supplies, and gold. They were experimenting with half-breedings.  This new type of half vampire-wolf was untamable, and the ones that didn't come out as they wished were left out in the wild. He felt bad for the poor soul that crosses paths with those beasts.  The invitation happened so fast that they didn't have time to react, nor call for help. First, they took the surrounding villages, the ones that were small to defend themselves, and made camp there. Slowly they got to the capital city, and that's when hell broke loose. A lot of lives were lost, on both ends, but it wasn't enough to drive the vampires away, and they took control.  A small hand reached for Anders' and held tight, he snapped out of his thoughts "Don't worry Hollis, that was far away,  I won't anything happen to you" He picked up the small girl, his sister, and walked slowly to the new homes they were given. Maybe, the council will hear of this and step in.  Far away from Anders, in the middle of the city in the castle that once belonged to the werewolves, the vampire prince yelled in anger "If we don't get the right mix then we can't take over my father and brother's reign. He slapped a servant that hit the wall to the left. The servant wiped the blood off his nose and shook his head as to regain conscience. A higher rank vampire spoke up "The experiments aren't going well, and if we keep realizing these creatures into the wild then they're going to turn against us. They can't think correctly" The vampire prince turned to him "This is the last time you tell me what to do, or your head's going to be hitting the wall." he said as he walked towards the vampire and stood inches from his face "then get me witches, orcs, trolls, whatever you have to get me here to build an army to wipe everybody out" there was silence, both men stared at each other eyes, for a few minutes nobody made a sound "Augustinus, my love, please, take a rest. You can't plan a battle like this. Let Corneliu handle this" A soft voice said, walking slowly towards the vampire prince and wrapping a hand around his waist. Augustinus broke from the trance and looked at the woman and smiled warmly "Corneliu, if the werewolves hybrids keep going rouge, switch specimen. I don't care what you bring as long as it helps me take back my home" Augustinus walked out of the room with Madelina next to him. Everybody in the room breathed once again, Corneliu looked at everybody and shook his head in denial, "He's gone mad... but we must obey and how loyalty to him, we promised his mother. Somebody assist the injured servant, and prepare to go on a witch hunt in 3 days."
