Two more weeks and I counted down every single day, every hour, every minute until I reached thirty-six weeks pregnant with Rose and Violet still safely inside me.
Thirty-four weeks came and went with me lying on the couch barely moving, and thirty-five weeks passed the same way, and finally I woke up one morning and realized I'd made it to thirty-six weeks exactly.
The C-section was scheduled for tomorrow morning at eight and I lay in bed with my laptop open showing Adrian's face on the video feed, and I needed to talk to him one last time before everything changed.
