Elena POV
Dr. Shah and the name sounded familiar to me somehow but I couldn't quite place where I'd heard it before, and I searched my memory trying to remember while Marcus stood there with the files.
Then it clicked.
"That's the doctor who signed Grace's death certificate," I said. "The one who ruled it accidental."
Adrian looked up at me from his wheelchair. "What?"
"Grace Williams, your father's mistress who died thirty years ago." I looked at Marcus. "Dr. Shah was the doctor who signed her death certificate saying she died in an accident."
"Are you sure?" Marcus asked.
"Yes, Margaret showed me all the documents when she visited." I looked at Adrian. "Dr. Shah ruled Grace's death accidental even though your father cut her brake lines."
