Adere could not tell why the men that were supposed to be their killers were laughing instead. He too became confused but what he knew was that even the deadliest men laugh before killing their victims. Adere and the rest kept standing and waiting because they had no other choice but to keep standing and to keep waiting. At some point Adere looked up and saw that the man that was flashing a torchlight on his face looked familiar. He looked carefully and could not believe his eyes. The person that was leading the groups was Edu from a neighboring kingdom. Edu was his friend whom he had met with during the visit to the land of Akuzu. He was so happy that tears filled his eyes. He went on to hug Edu so tightly that Edu found it hard to even breath.
"Keep calm man I know why you are holding me up like this but do no worry I am here for you. We are hunting here when we began hearing the screams that were coming from your land, then we knew that your town was under attack"
"Edu not was but still is. If you listen carefully you will hear them still screaming" said Adere.
