But this was not to bother Aboro. He instead told the guards to ensure that Rira and those of her people were well taken good care of. This utterance from him assured the guards and they promised to take good care of Rira. Rira was already in the tent where she was made to stay until one of the guards that took Aboro to the palace cell entered and then stood before her. She thought it was the one that helped her with something to eat and equally helped her people with some bread but when she raised up his head to look the person she saw was the one that was said to be responsible for everything that happened at the cell. She was about to stand when the guard beckoned on her to sit still and relax. She had no other choice but to do as he had said and retook her seat, although her eyes never left his face all the time he was in there with her. "What do you have to tell me about him?" she was forced to ask and the guard sighed and then said, "You see my dear he is not giving up on his ideology. He feels that the only way to bring peace to this land and to the world at large is to make peace reign without any war or battle. Before now we had not known him for that. So when he started acting this way we were wondering what on Earth prompted him to do that. We are not sure if he is still with himself but one thing that we are aware of is that he does not sound like someone who has lost his mind instead what we hear him speak is filled with wisdom. I am not saying that I am not surprised at him or that I have sided with him or bought into his ideaology but then whatever makes him say the things that he says and does the things that he does can not be ordinary. Well I came here not to waste your time or to waste my own time but then to bring it to your notice of what he said to me concerning you. He means that it is necessary for you to have one mind towards him. He says that he is still in there, hanging on and waiting for the king to change his mind. He wants you not to have any atom of fear in you because he is ready to sacrifice his own life if that is what it is going to take in order to make the king change his mind and do what needs to be done. I have come to tell you that he is okay and that he wants you to focus on treating the elders that you came with with him to this land and to ensure that you do not allow anyone to sweet-talk you to doing something entirely different or against what you have initially agreed with him. He says that here there are men who are greedy enough to try to make you think twice about what you have already decided with him. He wants you to know that such men are going to come to you and that they are going to try to make your life miserable. He says you should not give in when such forces arise against you. He wants you to know that when such people come to you or it will take only your understanding and your wisdom to be able to escape them. He wants you to use what you have when they come at you. He wants you to know that despite the fact that you have not gotten him any reason to believe in you he is willing to make you see reasons with him. He is willing to make sure that he keeps praying for you and to get the gods to keep you strong. I am just but a messenger who respects what Aboro used to stand for. I used to think that what he stood for was the best but now I can not say that this will be his next action. I know that you have understood what I have just said to you. If you have I will just be on my way now" The guard turned and was about to go but had to stop because Rira had begun to speak. he turned to face her but saw that she was not looking at him as she went on saying the things that she was ready to say. "I have never seen it, I have never seen anything like it before. I was shocked when I first witnessed it and I was already moved to want to ask the gods questions because when Aboro entered the land of Zinu he was moved by the rage to kill and to destroy. He was not looking sideways and his mind was already made up. I would have asked the gods questions but who was i. I stopped there, waiting to see what the gods had in store for him and for us, us who were under his wrath. What I did not understand was that the gods could pick just anyone to save those that he loves, it means the gods can even use your own enemies in order to rescue you from your predicament. What I did not know or wanted to know was how to make him to continue with what he had already become. I did not want to question him on how he intended to continue but I was ready to help him, yes, I was ready to help him the best way that I could and so I stood out for him. I stood out for him in the presence of the army that he led to the land of Zinu and they suddenly believed in him. I do not know if you were there but what I am very much aware is the fact that when he realized that he was not going to be able to escape from the thing that had arrested him he relied on me for more guidance, yes, for more directions because he was new to that life, that life that says "one oath to become kind" that was not whom he was and the life he knew but he was made to know that life by the gods but he was made to continue with that life by me, I was there to encourage him and luckily he was easily led to the path of truth by the gods. They helped him and what they taught him is what he is exhibiting now. What would you say to a man who is ready to allow everything fall off for the sake of peace. If you check it you will know that what he is today he did not build just in few years but built it for many years, but what should baffle you is the fact that he is now willing to let to of everything for the sake of what he believes in. What kind of a person is that; do you not think that there is something that is helping push him to establish himself in that way? My dear I am no longer going to allow things to happen to me the way that they are happening to me, infact what I have in mind to do is to ensure that what the gods have started in his life that he accomplishes and ends it. The king of Agori needs to see reasons with him for what he carries in his mind now is not ordinary instead it is what will help this nation into becoming what the gods have destined it to become" said Rira but it was not in the power of the guard that stood before him to tell him that he would do anything to ensure that the king of Agori understood what she was saying but one thing which he was aware he would be able to do was to ensure she, Rira had nothing to loose but everything to gain. This was exactly what he was told to do by Aboro. He cleared his throat and then said to her, "I have heard what you said but you see my dear my power here is too low. Infact if I have accepted to looking after you because Aboro said so I do that to my own risk but I will do it anyway; anything for him, anything to make him believe so much in himself. I am not ready to allow things to happen the way that they do simply because there are those who are not in good sense with how they have gone. I am going to ensure that you are well taken good care of. I even will help beg the men that are with me to help me bring out some food for your people, those that came to this place with you. this is the only thing that I can now promise but for me to go about trying to make you understand what is not there is a waste of time. Kindly do what you have got to do and do it faster. I will keep my eyes on you" The guard then left the chamber and Rira rank in the seat. That same day Rira decided that it would be a good idea to visit the cell room of Aboro. She had to beg the same soldier, that was the same guard that Aboro had look after her and her people and when she had pleaded with him the man sighed and could not find the words to say but one thing he was aware was that there was no way he was going to deny her the request. He looked at her in her eyes and said, "You are going to put me into a serious problem if you keep demanding from you. I am not even one of the commanders and not even the commanders of the legions have the power to release a prisoner if the king has not signed the release of that prisoner" "I am not asking you to release Aboro. I would not be that stupid to ask you of such a terrible and risky thing but what I would like you to do for me is to help me to near his cell. I want to have some words with him and i know that you understand what I mean when I say these things. Kindly allow me to go in and see him. Let it not bother you because I already know that you will not be caught if you allow me to go in and see him, please" At that moment it did not trouble the man to help Rira and he said to her, "Very well then. I am going to have to sneak you inside to see him but not now. You will have to wait till in the night. I will come over to help you. I will show my face to help you do what you have to do. Do not allow yourself to be put in a situation where you will have nothing to save yourself. So do not insist that to must speak with him now instead let it be in the night because by that time it will be covinent for me as well. Are you in?" He asked and Rira nodded. She was ready to do anything, she was ready to wait as long as she was going to be allowed to meet with Aboro at the end of her waiting. The guard then left her chamber. That night the king woke up and decided to go to the cell where Aboro was to say some words that he believed was capable of changing his mind. The king who could not sleep still was searching for the best word to use in order to bring the senses of Aboro back. He felt that if Aboro went on with his ideology it would be to the detriment of his land. He did not want to be that vulnerable, infact he did not want to be that weak before his fellow kings. If they were to learn of his predicament they would come after him as if he had done them any evil in the past. They would sweep in on him.
