MAGICO PRAECINUISSET
"VOLARE PARVEM AVAM!" Zaraya shouted then pointed her wand to the bird in front of her, but to her dismay, the bird stil remained to its standing position while looking at her as if she's the most wierdest creature it ever saw. She sighed heavily and raised her left eyebrow to the small creature. "What are you looking at you little ugly thing? Just fly away will you?!" she yelled and the bird hastily obliged. " Tsk. Am I really this useless? Why am I even born anyway?" "You're not useless, Raya.. You're unique." Instantly, her brows furrowed ten times than the usual upon hearing the owner of that irritating voice, and even if she won't bother giving a one second glance, she knew that it was, "Pheya. Following me again without my consent?" she growled at her twin sister while compassing her wand again, pointed it to the bird that has very colorful and smooth feathers and shouted, "VOLARE PARVEM AVAM!" "Pffft. I do not need your consent my twin, I can follow you whenever I want and wherever you are," a smiling Zapheya said. She arched her brow and glared at her. "Stay. Away. Can't you see? I'm practicing new spells here.Tsk." "Well.. Rectifying your mistakes again to utter the spell you're practicing is not bad am I correct? I'm a big help Raya." Zapheya said with the glow on her eyes. But Zaraya just glared at her for the uptenth times and answered, "You know what big help you got to do to make my day today? JUST LEAVE ME ALONE." By that, she heard Zapheya sighed deeply and asked in a very low tone."Why do you hate me that much, Raya? As far as I know, I haven't done anything wrong to you, have I?" Finally she turned around, faced Zapheya with her natural smug look and scoffed insultingly. "Haven't done anything wrong? You, following me everywhere is one thing. You, showing off to our parents that you can automatically memorize both old and new spells that Father gave us is another thing. You, making me feel that I'm the total opposite of you, is the third thing. You! Always rectifying my mistakes making me feel how useless I am in this world AND YOU! Making Mother see how smart you are and how stupid I am everyday, is probably the worst wrongful thing you've done to me! Now you tell to my face you've done nothing wrong towards me, Zapheya! So stay! Away!" "ZARAYA!!" Her eyes widened with terror as she heard the owner of that dangerous woman voice. "Mother.." "DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME 'MOTHER' WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN RESPECT THE FUTURE QUEEN OF THIS PALACE YOU BIG SHAME!!!" The Ice Queen shouted her lungs out in rage like a mad dragon ready to blow out the fire from her mouth. But Zaraya remained on her feet and silently choked her tears. No, she won't cry. Crying is a weakness. And she had enough of her mother calling her a weakling and useless. That moment, she just slightly bowed down her head and facing to the magnificent gold-inspired carpeted floor, she clinched her fists. 'Future queen huh?,' she thought. "Mother..Please..That's enough,"she heard Zapheya said. But the Ice Queen didn't seem to listen at Zapheya's plea and just continued insulting her. "You see, I was there the whole time and imagine my dissapointment watching you from a far while you practiced that new spell here like a moron! Until Zapheya came here to help you out and all you did was to shut her off! How could you! Don't you have a heart for your sister????" Those last words that came from her mother's mouth pierced her soul and ripped her heart secretly. She was so close to say " How about you ,Mother? Don't you have a heart for me as well?" but she didn't. For she know it was all Zapheya's fault from the very start. She loves her mother and sister. But she just couldn't devour the comparison between her and Zapheya just because of the latter's actions. Acting so kind and smart at all. Making her feel so worthless, useless and definitely insecure. "Zapheya! Show her how to get that spell done!" "But ,Mother--" "Now, Zapheya!" Pheya looked at her with that sad emotion she saw, sighed deeply then compassed her wand and pointed it to the bird who's busy chirping and leaping on their brilliant crystalline flower garden and uttered, "VOLARE PARVAM AVEM!" Then a white-colored light came out from the tip of her sister's wand and the bird abruptly flew up in the sky. "BRAVO!!" her mother clapped proudly with a wide smile and awe is written all over her mother's face while looking at her sister. "SPLENDID,DAUGHTER! NICELY DONE." "T-Thank you ,Mother.." "See that? Those are the right words to that spell,Zaraya. Not your 'Volare Parvem Avam' .Tsk, you can't even utter the spell right. Poor little thing," upon uttering those painful words, the queen faced Zapheya, held the latter's hand and said, "Come,daughter.. We have so many important things to do for your upcoming wedding with the Prince of Fire. Don't waste your time spending with your sister who's not even grateful of your help," her mother said and dragged Zapheya away from her presence. And in that very moment, she was left there.. Alone. A tear, finally fell from her eyes. But this time, it's not just a tear of pain. But also a tear.. Of wrath and vengeance. That night, it was winter storming, and the cold breeze coming from the outside of Zaraya's balcony, made her body shiever, but at the same time, made her heart even more colder than before. She gasped for precious breath as she sat down to her bed and remembered her late father. "Oh, Father, how I wish you were here," she whispered. She looked at her spacious royal room with all the things inside are pure gold and shiny crystals, then she remembered the book her father used to read for her before she sleeps back then. She went to her old drawer and took it, but before she could flip the page, an old, strange, pitch black booklet fell from the book she's holding. And as it fell on the floor, a loud crash of thunderbolts echoed from the sky, followed by the drastic blast of wind in each corner of room. By that, the booklet seemed to flip the page on its own revealing different kinds of.. "Dark magic spells.."
