"Are you sure?" Mila asked her sister. Zoey threw her an annoying look and turned her head towards the passing trees.
They were on their way to Blue dale. It was a six hours drive. The siblings still as a result of their Make your parent's guilty act were now following their parents' car.
"Zoey?!"
"What?!" Zoey snapped.
Even before starting today morning they had this big fight with their parents asking them not to do this. Mila came into terms because to kill the curiosity she needs answers, answers found in Bluedale.
Whereas Zoey is having a hard time.
"Maybe as you said it is going to be a new start... A new..." Zoey cut her and said "I don't want a new start... I had a perfect life."
"Zoey..."
"Maybe we could turn around. You are 22 we will take an apartment. I will stay with you. You can join the hospital again and can earn." Zoey said hopefully.
"And what would you do?" Mila asked.
"I would watch some Rom-com's," Zoey said giggling.
"Zoey that's a good plan actually... But you do know I wanted to go there and help them" Mila said giving her sibling understand me look.
"Whatever...." Zoey said in a bored tone changing the channel in the radio.
"Hey, I was listening to that..." Mila shouted.
"I love this song....." Zoey squealed at the same time.

"Auh..! Its been a long time we sang our hearts out" Zoey said falling back in her seat. Her hair falling all over her face. Mila couldn't stop the smile on her face seeing her sister happy. Yes!! It would be difficult for her to start in midterm surrounded by people she never knew... But Mila believed her sibling would pull it Just fine.
*Say my name... Say my name.... when no one is around you say, baby, I love you...if you ain't running games....* her sister started the next song. Mila just hummed the song and gave input in the chorus. At the end of their six-hour drive girls were all giggling and smiling until their eyes saw a board which said "welcome to Blue dale"
'Girls where are you? We are waiting for you?' their mom messaged Zoey. There were two wolves running parallel with their car. 'Pack wolves and their stupid laws' Zoey muttered to her sister. There were growls from the wolves which both the siblings ignored.
"Is there a chance of us getting detached from our parents and going away from here and never returning back.?" Zoey asked her sister. Mila just chuckled as she took a Sharp right turn to the houses arranged in order houses for pack wolves Mila thought and to the left she could see a wolf asking her to follow him and Mila did, he led them to the pack house.
The moment her car parked beside her parents her wolf started pacing inside. Anxiety she thought to take a deep breath to calm herself.
"Peter!! Here my girls came!" Ella squealed.
Zoey gave Mila why-the-hell-is-she-so-excited look. To which Mila just shrugged.
Checking if her hair was okay! She exited the car. She came stood near Zoey's side she was still not out. From the corner of her eyes, she could see a group of people looking at them "Zoey!!" She called. Zoey took her sweet time to come out. Today She wore her favorite white color cardigan on the black color tank top with her ripped jeans and ankle length boots, her hair was left loose. Whereas Mila wore a grey color shirt under a white color tank top paired with black ankle length jeans and normal half open shoes. Her long dark brown hair was also left free. The siblings kind off looked identical. Giving her sister's hand a tight squeeze Mila finally turned around giving the audience waiting for them her attention taking a deep breath. But all her senses focused on finding the husky deep woods smell which invaded her nose. Mate. Her wolf paced inside her. Mila quickly found the source of the smell. There stood a man with piercing grey eyes already looking her way. Just his sharp gaze made her heart beat fast. Her attention was brought back when her mom placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Peter... This is my elder one... Mila and that's the younger... Zoey. And girls this is my old friend..." She was cut when someone said
"Mate" thinking that it was her mate Mila found her eyes back to the gorgeous man in front of her in his black jeans and a brown T-shirt but his lips were sealed as it was before she shifted her eyes to a guy who stood at least ten feet from her.
"Mate" the guy repeated. She gave him a confused look. She didn't understand about whom he was talking about until a hand snaked around her arm and held it as if their life depended on it. Zoey.
"Mate" Zoey also repeated in a sheer whisper if not for her werewolf senses Mila might not have heard her.
"Well... Splash that is Zoey and Zoey that's my son Splash." The man whom their mother called Peter introduced. Mila found gray eyes of her mate again. Why is he not saying anything.? She thought.
"Congratulations guys" a short Burnett spoke coming to stand beside Mila's mate.
"Well, girls this is my old friend Peter." Ella introduced.
"Someone looks as excited as ever," Peter said with a hearty laugh.
"Oho... You know that I am the hyper one." Ella said causing both Andrew and Peter to chuckle.
"So... I assume you are the Alpha," Mila spoke not wanting to witness more of their reunion comments.
"Oho... No sweetheart!!! I passed on the title long back... My son... The elder one is the Alpha" Peter said pointing a finger towards her mate.
"Josh woods" her mate introduced himself. His voice was deep and husky. It made her knees go weak.
She just gave him a slight nod. Alpha's are highly respected people but Mila never gave a damn to the Alphas around her age. She had this weird philosophy that she could be better alpha then them.
"You must be tired... Please come inside" the short Burnett spoke again.
Mila's wolf didn't like the distance between that Burnett and her mate. She rudely raised an eyebrow at her. Zoey who was trying focus anywhere except her mate saw this exchange.
'Woah... Mila... That was rude!" Zoey mind linked her sister.
Mila turned towards Zoey and raised her eyebrow again "Is it now?" She asked. Everyone was now looking curiously at the Jones siblings. Zoey's eyes widened before she broke into fits of laughter.
"Girls!" Andrew sharply warned. While Ella was trying to move the spotlight from her children to the Burnett." I am sorry but you are?" She asked.
The Burnett smiled slowly and said, " I am Dani Marshall the Luna of Blue dale pack". Luna?! As in the Alpha's mate?! Mila's eyes found her mate grey ones again they remained emotionless and cold.
Her wolf who was excited having found her mate now seemed to be so quiet. Mila managed to keep her mind calm and her face expressionless.
They all followed her inside Mila who was now confused and sad because of her mate and irritated because of her sister, gave her a pointed look. But Zoey could care less.
"So.. What do you do Mila?" Peter asked once the settled down in what looks like a living room.
"Ah... I am a doctor and also a researcher." Mila answered.
"Aren't you too young to be a doctor?" Max asked.
"She is homeschooled and one of the fastest and brightest one to get her degree in the whole country " Andrew replied pride taking place in his tone. Mila just gave him one of her bright smiles.
Zoey's mate was trying all his luck to get Zoey's attention but she, on the other hand, is trying very hard to avoid even looking in his direction.
Ella as enthusiast as ever said " Peter why don't you ask your son to show around the pack to my girls"
"Definitely" Splash squealed.
Zoey gave for her a pointed look and turned towards her sibling for help. Mila who was confused irritated even to stand in the room with her mate and his arms around some Burnett readily agreed.
"Very well Let me escort you then," Splash said all excited. Mila chuckled where as Zoey blushed.
"Dani, why don't you also accompany them?" Peter asked. Killing all the interest in Mila. When she saw Dani joining them she abruptly stopped and said "I think I am tired I would like to take rest... If you could show me our stay."
"Me too" Zoey added to quickly. Mila gave her a look which clearly said 'You need to talk to him and don't try to avoid' The siblings had a mini stare contest until Mila sighed softly before asking Splash to lead the way.
Mila pushed Zoey and gave her the look which clearly said GO. while Splash and Zoey were walking few feet away, Mila followed them slowly. Dani trailed around Mila trying to make a conversation but Mila's one-word answers ticked Dani off. Mila was never pegged as a rude person actually she was the sweetest person you could come across in life but she isn't that sweet when she was being neglected by 'The One' fate has chosen to love her unconditionally.
"Hey, Mila... That's your hospital" Zoey shouted bringing her back from her trance.
Zoey who knew something wrong with her sister couldn't pin exactly about her mood. And suddenly it hit her that may be because Zoey also found her mate Mila must feel horrible. Cursing how stupid sister she has been she rushed her sister into a bone-crushing hug.
Mila who was busy remembering the way she came so that she could start her research as soon as possible and leave this place so she couldn't see the stupid disaster of mate for her who even couldn't wait for her was startled by the sudden bone-crushing hug Zoey threw her way.
Splash and Dani were as confused as Mila was. "I..I.."Zoey tried to speak but she didn't know what to say.
Mila who realized what was going on her siblings head. Mila pushed Zoey aside.
"Mila..." Zoey started but Mila cut her off rather sharply "No....not now". Mila couldn't understand how she will make stupid sibling of her understand she doesn't care about the 'Mate'. Later she mind-linked her sibling.
The walk back was different from the first one Mila joined splash and they started talking about the favorite topic on hand right now and that is ZOEY.
As they reached they could listen to their mother welcoming someone. Sisters shared a look until they heard his voice.
"Is that...." Zoey started but was again cut off by Mila confirming Zoey's thoughts.
"Hayden" as quiet as a whisper.
"Who is Hayden?" Splash asked Zoey.
Zoey looked in her sister's direction... Mila could feel all those eyes when they came into the clearing in front of the pack house.
"Hey muffin," Hayden said his voice as deep as Mila remember.
"I am not muffin anymore!! I even found my mate see" Zoey stomped her foot like a little kid.
Hayden chuckled and he settled for a small smile when he gave his attention towards Mila "sweet.." He was middle of addressing when Mila launched herself at him. Hayden just smiled as he hugged her back.
"I missed you so much," Mila said with emotion swirling in her tone.
