I stretched my legs wearily and looked around me. This place is so boring, and I thought I would enjoy Alaska. The only thing I like here is the cold weather, or maybe it's because I keep coming here every couple of years until I get bored with it . Joking I will never get bored with this weird warmth I feel whenever I am in a cold place . I stood up on the tree trunk and jumped down from the tree, scattering snow around me. I tightened my bag and walked slowly towards the train station. As usual, I stay in one place for a few months and then move on to another. I've been doing this for five thousand years, so I've been to many places several times. There's no place left that I haven't visited. Where should I go now? I walked up to the ticket office and looked at the screens above to see which trains were leaving now... My eyes quickly scanned the names of several areas, but none of them caught my attention. I sighed and sang my favorite song to choose randomly like I always do whenever I don't want to make a choice . Canada. Cold my favorite Well, that's interesting. The last time I visited was three thousand years ago, and wasn't Maysen living there? It would be a wonderful opportunity to visit him, as I haven't seen him in years. I went to the ticket seller and bought what I wanted. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long, as the train departed a few minutes after I boarded. I took a side room, threw my bag carelessly on the small bed, and lay down to sleep deeply. ____________ Passengers are requested to check their luggage... I shouted angrily at the sound that was disturbing my eardrums. I opened one eye to see that the train had stopped. I sighed and ruffled my hair to wake myself up completely. I picked up my bag and headed down, looking around me. I needed to eat and find a place to stay. I closed my eyes and concentrated, and was amazed by the tremendous power I felt in this area. I opened my eyes, decided on my destination, and walked slowly toward it. It seemed that he hadn't moved since the last time I spoke to him. Good, I was tired anyway and couldn't waste energy looking for him. It took me a while to reach his house. I frowned in annoyance at the smell that permeated the place. I walked slowly to knock on the door, waiting for him to open it. I knew he was here, and there was another one too... ... A womanizer. _Ekelia I looked up at the speaker. Maysen was still as handsome as the last time I saw him years ago, with his brown hair, honey-colored eyes, and childlike features. I raised my hand, pushed him aside, and entered the house. I threw my bag on the sofa in the living room and headed for the kitchen. I opened the refrigerator, took out a piece of meat and some orange juice, and poured myself a glass. I heard the girl's footsteps as she stood at the kitchen door next to Maysen, who was still standing there with his mouth open in surprise. The girl spoke angrily. " Who is this? " I raised my eyebrows sarcastically... I heard once that werewolves and lycanthropes had what they call a mate and they say they are loyal to it . So it seems that every species has cheaters . I threw the piece of meat into the pan, turned it over, looked at Maysen with a smile, and spoke sweetly and flirtatiously, ignoring the disgust I felt. "Did you miss me, my love?" He opened his eyes widely with a look of panic that made me struggle to hold back my laughter, but looking at his face, I failed to do so. Her face alone made it difficult. She looked as if she wanted to devour me, just as I wanted to devour this piece of meat, so I let out a laugh. "Stop fooling around, Ekelia." My smile widened as I removed the meat, placed it on a plate, took a seat, and began to eat. I watched the couple in front of me without interest. Her anger subsided in a strange way, so I examined her to see Maysen's hand holding hers. So he's her companion... She's not a cheater after all. She asked Maisen calmly as she folded her arms in front of her. " Who are you? " He scratched his head nervously, shifting his gaze between me and her as I devoured a large piece of meat, watching with pleasure. " She's my cousin and like a sister to me. She's here to study at our academy . " I choked on a piece of meat, so I pulled out the cul of juice, drank it, and took a deep breath trying to understand what he said... Cousin who and what freaking academy? What? The girl's features softened and turned to me with a gentle smile. I couldn't believe how she had changed in an instant. "I apologize for the way I greeted you. I'm Tina. It's an honor to meet you." I wanted to object, but Maysen's pleading expression behind her stopped me. I rolled my eyes in boredom and smiled with difficulty. "And I'm Ekelia." She jumped up and down, shouting with joy, startling me with her behavior. "I hope we can be friends. I'll change my clothes and come back." She turned quickly to kiss Maysen goodbye before she disappeared. I looked at the boy in front of me, raising my eyebrows, waiting for an explanation of what had just happened. “ You could have said I was your friend. I only came to visit you and then leave. " "She won't believe that. There have been problems before, and I promised her I wouldn't get close to any other girls. I know she'll leave me if I do, "he explained, pleading with me to understand. I nodded, understanding what had happened. He must not have been interested in that silly mate connection thing from the beginning, and being a playboy and a womanizer makes the story similar to silly romantic movies, but it's interesting that she made him fall for her, which is something I never expected to happen, because I know how fond he is of his freedom. " Come on, Ekeila, you'll love the academy, just for a little while. " I finished my meal and replied indifferently " can't she hear us now? " He shook his head and pointed to the invisible barrier around us, so I nodded in understanding. "Does she know you're a wizard?" He nodded again in response. I watched him remove the barrier as soon as he sensed her approach. She appeared in her light clothing, turning my eyes away. Wolves don't feel the cold. Exciting. She kissed him again. I frowned in annoyance. I'm here, girl. Respect my non-existent feelings. Then she turned to me and spoke in a gentle tone. " You'll love our academy very much. It has all kinds of creat.... " She paused before finishing her sentence, examining the humanity I had spread around me, and looked at Maysen, who shook his head in denial. He remembered what I had told him earlier: that I was human and knew nothing. I asked her with raised eyebrows "All kinds of what ?" "Clubs, sports, books, anything you might like." She answered nervously, shaking her hands quickly. This girl really doesn't know how to lie. I nodded indifferently and said, "I'll take a room upstairs to rest." " I'll take care of your registration so you can start tomorrow. " I looked at him angrily. Damn it, I want to rest. I finished school thousands of years ago. May all curses be upon me if I ever come back here again. I shook my head in despair at why I had come here in the first place before the wolf hi Maysen " can't you see she is tired , the school is no runnig away , she can star next week after getting a full rest " I smiled , did I say I like this girl ? No !! Well now I do She continued turning to me now " and I will make sure that you have a wonderfull week , I will show you all the nice places in oer town " Nope , I changed my mind I nodded to her " sure , that is so nice of you , now I just need to sleep if you exuse me " I climbed the stairs slowly and deliberately, accustomed to my human movements. I almost felt like a turtle compared to the other creatures. I came to a hallway with several doors. I stayed away from Maisen's room because of the smell coming from it and went into the room opposite it. Luckily, it was clean and tidy. I threw my bag aside and threw myself on the bed. I looked at the ceiling and relaxed my muscles a little. There's no harm in enjoying this school a little and playing with these kids. It's been a long time since I've been in contact with other creatures. I've spent these years moving from place to place, making sure not to conflict with any of these factions or anyone who might recognize me. A little fun is okay, then. I exhaled. I felt Maysen's aura behind the door. I let him in before he asked permission. I sat up, raising my upper body on my arms, and looked at him. " Tina has left, and I'm going to the academy now. Do you have any specific name in mind ?" I blinked several times at his stupidity. " I'm your cousin. I think we have the same last name, don't we? And besides You already introduced me to your friend Energy Ball by my name. " He blinked in realization and smiled while I kept wondering incredulously how this wizard can create the most powerful spells. "Ekelia, then." I nodded to confirm , no one would recognize me by my name, as those who knew my name had passed away years ago, except for a few People and I know they are far away from Canada now. As usual, I watch their every move before I do anything. I turned when I heard the outer door close, announcing Maysen's departure. I threw myself back on the bed and closed my eyes to enjoy a peaceful sleep.
