Genevieve's pov
I hit my head one more time in the wall but it only caused to cracked open the walls and I got frustrated when I didn't even feel any pain.
"Why...." I pulled my hair and close my eyes for a moment before i open it.
I ran away from the experimental building and went to the woods, I'm afraid I'll hurt more people.
I looked around, I'm surrounded by big trees and I hear nothing but just trees hitting each other with their leaves. I stood up and started walking.
"Come to us...."
I freezed on my spot when I heard a whisper and a warm breath on my ears and my hands automatically fire at a tree and it became ashes.
I looked around me trying to sense if there's someone with me but I shook my head and walked faster.
"Genevieve...."
I covered my ears, feeling creep out by the voices and as I keep walking, the voices got louder so I stopped and looked around.
"Show yourself!" I screamed and I looked at the sky almost getting dark so I ran away not knowing where I am.
As I kept running I found a big mansion infront of me and I saw lights on the window meaning there's people so I smiled in relief but when I was about to knock I stopped and look at my hands.
Oh yeah....I can't control my stupid powers.
I sighed and looked at the door and when I was about to turn my back to walk away, the door opened and I freezed.
"Genevieve...." I heard a familiar voice and i immediately turned around to see Ethan standing infront of me.
"Ethan...please..help me" I beg for him and tears started streaming down my face.
He held my shoulders and looked behind my back and he pulled me inside.
"We thought something happened to you, are you ok? what happened in the experimental room? you were live worldwide but the video cut down when you broke the glass." he said flooding me with all his questions.
He offered me to sit down on the couch and I sat beside him and cover my face with my hands and started crying.
"I....I killed them." My voice cracked and felt a pang in my chest.
I heard Ethan gasped and he became quiet.
"It's not my fault..." my voice turned into whisper
I removed my hands from my face when I heard footsteps, it was Ivan. He just looked at me coldly and sat on another couch.
"Please...help me" my voice cracked while I beg to Ethan.
"Ok...we will." He said while holding my shoulder and I smiled at him and hugged him.
"You need to shower, you smell like blood and woods." I sighed and looked down on my feet before asking him.
"Where's the shower?" I wiped my messy face full of tears and sweat.
"At the second floor last door in the hallway it's just beside Ivan's room, there's already towels there. The maids will give you a spare clothes when you're done." I thanked Ethan silently and went upstairs.
I walked in the hallway and all the paintings caught my attention.
There's one painting of a full family, I think it's Ethan's family. His mom looks young and beautiful while his dad is very handsome too.
No wonder Ethan and Ivan are both very handsome.
I look around the paintings until I reached the end of the hallway, I looked at Ivan's room before entering the bathroom.
It looked like the bathroom is not even used cause it looks so clean, the tiles are shiny and so does everything in here.
I removed my clothes and placed it on a wooden basket under the sink and I opened the shower with a bathtub.
I laid on the bathtub while the shower and the water faucet is slowly filling the tub, I closed my eyes.
Why me?
that question kept repeating in my head, why did I get picked to get experimented? why not others? I'm not even healthy.
As soon as the water fully filled the tub I closed the faucet and submerged my body in the water including my head.
"use it..."
My eyes flashed open when I heard the whispers again and I looked around and there was no one but me.
I look at my hands for a moment.
It's uncontrollable...
I slowly held the water faucet and my eyes widened when a pure black liquid swallowed the faucet whole and it disappeared.
I looked at my hands and the wall where the faucet used to be in total disbelief and I immediately got out of the bathtub and grabbed the bathrobe and wrapped myself.
I opened the bathroom door and there was a maid that was about to knock, she smiled at me and offered me the clothes in her hands.
"Young master said to make you wear this." The maid bow at me and I gently grabbed the clothes.
"Thank you." I closed the door and looked at myself in the mirror.
I looked the same but I look stressed from what's been happening, it feels so overwhelming and I just literally escaped and killed ton of people but I'm still grateful that Ethan didn't got scared when I asked to stay and let me hide.
I unfold the clothes and it was a normal tshirt and a short that's just the right size for me and right length.
I wore the clothes and I was surprised when it came with an underwear and b*a that perfectly suits my body.
I look at myself one more time and I was about to open the door when I noticed the vein in my hands up to my arms..It's red and glowing.
I held my hand and took a closer look, it's like pulsating inside me.
What's happening to me?
I left the bathroom and went back downstairs and there I saw Ethan and Ivan still sitting at the living room.
"Where can I sleep?" I caught Ivan's attention and Ethan stood up.
"We agreed that you should sleep in Ivan's room since the guest rooms we have is under renovation, we're getting it fixed." I looked at Ivan whose eye's are on me too.
"But where will he sleep?" I asked feeling kind of uncomfortable from the fact I'm gonna sleep in his room.
"There's a couch on my room, you're gonna sleep there." Ivan said in a cold tone and walked away.
"He's going out for now, don't worry about him." Ethan assured me so I smiled at him and I went upstairs.
I sighed before opening Ivan's room and my nose met with Ivan's scent in his room, it smells like mint ocean.
I looked around, his room is just full of black and blue color and surprisingly his room is very clean and looks appealing.
I jumped on his bed forgetting what he said earlier and I smiled, this feels so comfortable.
My eyes became heavy and I let myself fall asleep.
