Genevieve's pov
I look at the ceiling above me while completely drained out of energy.
What will happen to me?
That thought has been with me for the past week since I came here in this stupid building, just resting all day but they give me daily pills and I don't even know what it does to me.
I stood up and sat on my desk to get lost on the view outside the window.
The trees were wooshing and hitting each other, the wind look so strong today, there might be a heavy rain coming.
I took a look at the sky and it was just cloudy grey with no sign of the sun.
I sighed and stood up, my eyes landed on the door.
I walked towards the door and opened it, I felt like exploring today since I have nothing to do in this stupid building but just looking at the window all day, laying on the bed, and drinking ton s**t of pills even though I'm not sick.
I walked around and after a few minutes of walking my a*s on the hallway, I found an elevator.
I clicked the experiment floor bottom and went inside the elevator and I smiled at the design of the elevator.
I think it's a special elevator, the walls are glass with golden railings on it and it was glittery.
I posed at the mirrors looking dumb enough to be a crazy person.
Am I crazy? Yeah I think so with how MUCH they give me pills. What are those anyway?
After minutes of posing in the mirrors of the elevator, the elevator door opened and I looked outside.
I stepped out the elevator and I caught all the scientists attention with my footstep being so loud.
"Can i have my phone back?" I asked and one of the scientist, she came towards me and hold my shoulder.
"We can't give you your phone back, your experiment will be held in 1hour Please ready yourself both mentally and physically." The scientist said with a stern tone so I just scuffed.
"Can't I talk to my family? Just a minute please." I begged them.
The scientist looked at me with an irritated face and she grabbed something on her pocket and gave it to me.
"Here's the access card for the important files room, your phone is on the front table, don't do anything stupid there." She handed me the card and I smiled at her and went back to the elevator.
After minutes of waiting, the elevator door opened and I went outside and a door catched my attention so I went there and tried the keys.
The keys worked and I went inside and saw a table, I walked closer to it and opened one of it's small wardrobe and I smiled when I saw my phone so I grabbed it.
Elysia's pov
It's Monday today and as usual there's no teachers today since they have a meeting so right now our class is just being noisy.
I looked at my cellphone, it's been days, 9 days I think? and there's no sign of Genevieve, not even a text, call, nothing.
I sighed and clicked Genevieve's number and called it one more time and I gasped when it finally rang and I became silent when she accepted the call.
"Elysia."
Tears stream down my face when I heard her call my name, I missed her.
"So you just called me now? don't you miss us? your family? our friends? what happened to you? did they hurt you?" my voice shaky while flooding her with my questions.
"I'm fine, they didn't let me use my phone I don't know why."
I turn on my camera and so did genevieve.
"Guys! it's genevieve!" I screamed and Nicole, Shai, Ethan and Ivan looked at my phone.
"Hello guys."
They all asked her the same thing and I remained silent while admiring her face.
Her appearance changed, like she's tired.
"Hey, I only have 50 minutes left until they experiment on me, I just wanna say that I miss you guys and see you soon!" I saw her smile before she ended the videocall.
Somehow it felt like it's the last time I see her smile.
"Let's just pray that she's gonna be ok." Nicole assured us but it didn't help me.
I felt something was off.
"I'm worried." they all looked at me.
"What if the experiment fails and hurt her? it seems possible." I added and Shai held my shoulder.
"We're all worried but we should just think for the best way possible." Shai assured me, I nodded trying to ignore what I feel.
We all talked about genevieve for the past minutes until our advisor came to the classroom and told us to go to the gymnasium and my breath stopped when I heard him say we're gonna watch the experiment on Genevieve.
Third Person's View
Genevieve looked at the tub she's gonna lay on, with the needles on the side and the scientists working something on their computers.
One of the scientist grabbed her arm and accompanied her closer to the clear tub.
"Please lay on the glass tub and remove your clothes except for your underwear and bra."
Genevieve started removing her clothes not knowing the experiment room is live worldwide
The people wearing a protective suits supported her to get into the glass tub and when she lay down water started to fill up the tub and when it reached her nose she stopped her breath and closed her eyes.
Her eyes open wide as she felt a handcuffs on her wrist and she looked around but it was all blurry due to the water and she couldn't move anything, not even her feet.
Her eyes remained open in the water, completely submerged and not knowing that it's not an ordinary water because it's a liquid that stops any violent reaction from the chemical.
She noticed something in her sides that looks like big injection needles and the heartbeat monitor began to beep.
Genevieve tried to get out but she was locked inside and the medical heart computer was beeping because Genevieve's heart was rising.
She tried to scream when the needles went inside her skin altogether, two needles in each of her arm, another two needles on her thighs and calves and a big needle went inside her head.
The computers in the experiment room became loud, beeping all over the place and her heart rate becoming so high.
Once the fluid that was injected in her whole body ran out, the needles slowly left her body.
The computers stopped beeping and went silent, they looked at her heart rate which completely dropped.
All the scientists became silent and looked at her bleeding body in the tub turning the water to red while on the other hand at the gym of their school.
Elysia kept cursing while looking at the screen while her other friends comforted her and Ivan just remained seated on his sit looking at the screen very carefully.
The people were whispering then suddenly the glass lock broke and she sat while catching her breath and the medical team immediately helped her get out of the tub but she fell on her knees.
"It hurts." Genevieve said but her body completely healed the scars made by the big needles.
She continued crying while hugging her knees and when one of the medical team were about to touch her shoulders the man became swallowed by a pure black liquid and it swallowed him completely and disappeared just from touching her shoulders.
Everyone was shocked from what happened, she slowly stood up while holding her head.
"IT HURTS!" She screamed at them and when they tried to get closer to her, her hands became uncontrollable and let out an ice power and it hit some of the people and the ice had spikes on it symbolising her pain and anger from the fact that she can't control it.
Her eyes started to glow red and her hand killed another scientist.
A dark liquid started to cover her body slowly until it completely covered her whole body.
The lightbulbs on the room shattered and some of the scientist that are still alive was already wearing an immunity suit, they knew this would happen.
The suit will make them immune to her uncontrollable powers but it wouldn't make them immune when she does physical attack to them and the problem is they can't see her anywhere.
The president of the scientists tried to grab his flashlight from his pockets but he heard bone snapping and it became closer and when he managed to get his flashlight he opened it and lost his breath when he saw the black figure infront of him with glowing white eyes.
"Genevieve please con-" she didn't let him finish and snapped his bone.
On the other hand, at the gym.
They knew that Genevieve lost control and the teachers made them go back to their classroom and Elysia and her other friends were silent.
