Chapter 1

20 years later

Genevieve's pov

I yawn as I finish my last homework and I look outside my window. The sun was almost up and the sky was turning light blue which made my face frown.

"I really need a time management." I complain to myself.

I was about to stand up but I sit back down and groaned as I felt my back hurting. My eyes rolled back and I stood up again and stretched my back.

I went outside my room and went to the bathroom to shower and stop the sleepiness from eating me.

After minutes

I went out the bathroom after spending my hour of just singing and dozing off in the shower and I glanced at my uniform hanging in my closet door.

I removed my bathrobe and wore my underwear and b*a and put on a deodorant.

I yawn as I still felt kind of sleepy and I put on my black skirt that rests in my thigh length level but of course, not enough to let it flash my a*s infront of everyone at school. I wore my white sleeve uniform and my black uniform vest with a design of my school's logo in the side chest.

I looked at myself in the mirror and I fixed my hair and posed.

"You look good, girl can I get your number?" I said smirking at myself and acting like a street boy.

I grabbed my bag and went to the kitchen to find nothing but just dishes so I smiled in pain because it's a lot so i just left the house and went to a bus and there I saw my friend Elysia.

"Girl you look...are you okay?" she asked me as she looked at me with that weird worried face.

"I got no sleep because of those stupid homeworks." I yawn and put my head on her shoulders to sleep.

"I hate to wake you up after you just got here minutes ago but we're already in the school."

I rolled my eyes at her and quickly went outside the bus and she ran to me and put her arm on my shoulder.

We went inside the school while I look at myself in the tiny mirror that I brought.

"Are you going to your date later?" I asked her and she looked at me with a grinning face.

"Yeah no s**t he's rich and handsome." I put my mirror on my skirt pocket and pushed her playfully with a chuckle.

"What's his name?"

"His name is Ethan and we're the same age." She said while still grinning.

We went to our lockers and put my bag there, I grabbed my books and we walked down the hallway together.

"Dude I hope our math teacher is sick, I don't wanna answer his bullshit math questions, it's so tricky."

"Yeah I hope so." I said clearly with a bored tone.

We went inside the classroom and sit next to each other in the back of the class next to the window.

"Heyyy look who's here looking like she got no sleep." Shai said while laughing and I pushed her shoulders playfully.

I pretended to get something in my hair and I showed her my middle finger and she rolled her eyes at me playfully while our other friend's laughed.

"Well she said she was doing homeworks." Elysia said while putting her make up on.

"There's two transferees today, i just heard from the teacher's faculty." Nicole said with a playful tone.

"Really? If it's a girl we dont care." I said and they laughed

We continued talking until the teacher arrived so we sat down next to each others in the back and I put my feet on the chair and crossed my arm while eating my lollipop.

"Goodmorning class."

we all stood up except for my friends who all looks bored.

"Goodmorning Sir Velasquez." the class said and we all sat back down.

I looked at Shai bothering the girl infront of her by pushing her chair which made me scoff.

She's just the way she is, a meanie.

"Class, we have two transferees today from maxwell academy, please come in and introduce yourselves."

Elysia gasped and I looked at her.

"Are you ok girl?" I asked her and hold her shoulders but she hold my face and made me look infront and there I saw two boys infront of the class.

"Hello everyone, I'm Ethan Anderson and I'm 18 years old, I hope we can all be friends." he said while smiling and my eyebrows raised and I glanced at Elysia.

"Is that him? your date tonight?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I dont know why he's here though." My gaze remained at her face and it was just full of confusion in her eyes and a mix of excitement.

I look at the other guy beside Ethan and he introduced himself.

"Goodmorning everyone, I'm Ivan Cooper." he said coldly.

"Cooper? he's from there?"

"wow one of the Coopers."

"I heard they're crazy rich."

The class whispered but they can clearly be heard.

"Please sit at the back, it's the only available sit." The teacher said and pointed the sit infront of me and Elysia.

Ethan sat infront of Elysia and I look at Ivan who's looking at my feet on the chair.

I rolled my eyes and removed my feet and he sat down.

I sighed and I look outside the window. The sky looks cloudy and I think it's gonna rain soon cause it's kind of dark.

I closed my eyes and rest my head on my chair desk and I immediately fell into slumber, not caring about the lesson.

Elysia's pov

Then entire hour I was just looking at Ethan's back completely inlove by him but I'm confused because how did he know what school I go to? or maybe just coincidence.

My attention caught Genevieve just sleeping on her desk and her chubby cheeks getting squeezed by her arm, I chuckled and secretly grabbed my phone in my pocket and took a picture of her and I immediately send it at our friendgroup chat.

After hours and hours, school finally ended and now we're fixing our things to go home and rest when suddenly he came to me with his friend Ivan.

"Hey Elys, give me your address im gonna pick you up tonight." he winked at me which made my cheeks turn rosy red and I grabbed Genevieve's ballpen on her desk with a paper and I wrote my number there to give it to Ivan..

I gave it to him and he winked at me, a smile curved in my lips and I put my hair behind my ears, I noticed Ivan staring at Genevieve fixing her things.

"you like her dude?" I heard Ethan asked him.

"No, just a boring girl."
