Chapter 9. Games

1695 Words
“It’s a bad example to the others; Mary’s disobedience.” Aqila said in her usual smooth, luscious tones from the door to Teo’s office. “She’s harmless. Pups often growl at those they haven’t yet learned have bigger teeth, and she’s a runt of a pup at that, not worth rising to.” Teo said dismissively, hoping in vain that Aqila would let it rest there. Teo was all too aware that he had a soft spot for Mary, she had been turned so young and although he would fight and die for any of his pack, she felt closer, like a daughter to him. “She will not be a pup forever, Teo. Some in the pack may feel… confused, seeing her challenge you.” “Do you feel confused?” “You know my feelings.” Aqila purred, spreading her long legs to sit on Teo’s lap, her skirt lifting as she did. “you have always known my mind.” She slowly slid off his lap, down onto her knees and looked up into Teo’s eyes as she unfastened his belt. “You know what we hunt tonight.” Teo responded simply. “Then we had better get our blood hot before we go.” Aqila pulled Teo’s enormous manhood free of his trousers and began to playfully suck on its tip, it quickly grew, presenting a massive, solid pillar. Teo was a very large, powerful man, and every part of him lived up to that. Teo bent down, grabbed Aqila by her hips, lifting her from the floor and pinning her against the wall, growling softly. After centuries of trying to master his self-control he still struggled to keep his true self completely inside when he was passionate in any way, and Aqila knew how to bring him out. Aqila was being held off the ground by Teo’s now bulging arms, pressed between the wall and Teo’s waist. She reached down to grab hold of Teo’s mighty shaft, drawing it into herself and pushed herself down on it. It was as well that the cafe was closed, and that Mary and Jodie had left by this point, because if the crash of Teo smashing his desk had alarmed Jodie, the noises that followed were far worse. As Teo untiringly thrust himself into Aqila over and over, with ever increasing power and enthusiasm she howled with pleasure, and as they fought for yet more carnal ecstasy the remaining furniture in Teo’s  office joined the remnants of his desk, shattered by the power of their hungry, pleasurable acts. After around an hour, Aqila pulled Teo down to rest with her on the floor for a moment. She knew from experience that he was far from spent, but she didn’t want him to tire himself before the hunt. “You seem to have broken your office.” “The walls are fine, mostly.” There were numerous gouges in the walls and floor, left behind as they partially shifted in the heat of the moment. “And I think this was more you’re doing than mine.” He gave Aqila a mock sincere look. “It’s too bad we don’t have the time, or I would say you should punish me then.” Aqila responded, reaching behind her to grab his still rock-solid p***s, then sighed, released it and rose from the floor. “We must take this seriously; I could smell it’s power, it’s strength, it’s age. It has been a long time since the pack fought one if it’s kind.” Teo said, with both seriousness and a touch of eagerness. Aqila’s advance had had the desired effect and adrenaline was pounding through Teo. He felt like he not just could, but that he needed to destroy this beast. Age and experience tempered that urge, however. Teo had many scars from many foes and had learned the hard way that as strong as he was, he was not invincible, and others around him certainly were not. He would take a dozen of the pack with him; they would be patient and only strike when the moment was right. Teo realised that Aqila was watching him, looking very thoughtful. “What troubles you?” “It’s nothing. You have made your decision.” Aqila responded, breaking her gaze and starting to gather her torn clothing. Aqila would never outright question Teo, his actions, decisions or motives, but she had become Teo’s Beta through shrewd wisdom and patience. She knew how question Teo or make her thoughts known to him without directly presenting them as a challenge. “Speak your mind Aqila.” Teo was also aware of Aqila’s talent for manipulation, and although it often frustrated him, especially when he only realised afterwards that he had been manipulated, he did value her advice. “I was just wondering, why are we hunting it by the girls building?” “You know the answer to that. We must rid the city of its taint, before it becomes a threat. It seems to have taken an interest in Jodie, the girl, and I believe it is watching her.” “Why her? She’s just an ordinary, human girl.” “Its reasons are of no concern to me. That it may be there is. We can use her as bait, hide until it appears and catch it unaware.” In a calculated move, Teo was using Jodie as bait. He knew it made sense but it stung him to be putting her at risk. “Then… no, I’m certain you have your reasons.” Aqila bowed her head in obvious deference, but then c****d her head to look at Teo. Teo had learned this was Aqila’s way of saying ‘but…’. “What?” Teo said, clearly losing patience. Adrenaline was coursing through him, he was ready to fight, not for nuanced conversation or word games. “Then why are you taking her in?” Aqila finally asked her true question, and Teo had told her to ask it. Teo knew that if the pack missed their chance to surprise the demon tonight that they could keep watching Jodie’s building until another chance presented itself, but by taking Jodie in tomorrow they would lose that advantage. They could watch the empty flat, but he doubted that it would linger when it noticed she was gone. The reason for this tactical error was simple. Jodie reminded Teo of his former love, dead now for centuries but seemingly reincarnated before his eyes whenever he looked at her. It was his love, and passion that had made that decision, but it was weakness. It would be understandable if she was one of the pack, but he could not risk turning her. “Go and ready the others.” Teo said flatly, raising as tall as he could, every muscle on his still naked body flexed to show that he was not looking for another question from Aqila. Aqila nodded and left the office. She was old, but not as old as Teo and had never seen Anna in person so couldn’t know how much Jodie resembled her, but if Mary had noticed, Aqila was certainly smart enough to realise that Teo was fond of Jodie. Teo closed his eyes and rested back on the floor for a few minutes before putting his clothes back on and joining his pack, partially to focus his mind on the task ahead and partially just to make Aqila wait. Teo wordlessly left his office, marched out back into the yard and disappeared into the night, the dozen of the pack, including Aqila, that he’d chosen to accompany him tonight falling in silently behind him.       The pack lay in wait, scattered and hidden but all within sight of the next pack member, forming a ring around Jodie’s building. Each of the wolves chosen were at least a hundred years old, each had fought many threats by Teo’s side and all were eager to kill this abomination. A vampire. Individual vampires were strong, even young ones. This one had wreaked of age and power, but it would be no match for the pack. If they weren’t eliminated quickly however, they would callously feed and turn others, who would then feed and turn yet more, quickly creating large covens and spawning the inevitable hordes of ghouls which accompanied them. Teo knew from past experience how quickly these threats could grow. A signal rippled round the ring of wolves and Teo sniffed the air. It was here. All present were masters of their true forms, silently shifting, each gaining at least several inches of height and a thick coat of armour-like fur across bulging muscles and large, razor sharp claws. Teo signalled Aqila, Ardena, Darrow, Layna and Ovin to slowly converge at the point it had been seen, keeping low on all fours to silently creep forward. The other half of the pack would circle the perimeter watching for threats, in case if had not come alone. To human eyes everything was still and ordinary, but Teo’s keen wolf eyes could see quite clearly the difference between the dark shadows and the demon which skulked in them. He watched patiently as it strolled towards the middle of the ring of wolves, each step seeming painfully slow to the pack, who were eagerly awaiting the signal to pounce once it reached the centre of their kill zone. It stepped out of the shadows into the moonlight and stopped. Teo remained still, sharpening his gaze on the demon. It might have noticed them, heard or smelt one of them but it surely would have tried to flee if it had, unless it wasn’t alone, but there was no warning from the scouts. Teo could sense the eagerness of the pack, he shared their longing to sink his teeth into this beast, but he held firm, watching. What was it doing?! Just standing there, illuminated by the moonlight for the pack to clearly see, it took off its jacket and shirt, neatly placing them on the ground beside it, then one of its fingers grew into a long claw which it drew across its chest, sending rivulets of blood flowing. Stood in the middle of their trap and now with the scent of its blood in the air the pack could barely resist the urge to strike, all of them constantly glancing at Teo, wishing for the signal to attack. A fraction of a second before one of the pack finally broke, springing from his hiding place and racing towards the demon, Teo saw the smallest flick of a smile appear on its face.
