SOLENNE “It's him, Luna Solenne. It's the Armored Alpha Theodore. He is here with his Junior brother, Benjamin. They came with their legion. A lot of our soldiers are…” Levi panted. He was running out of breath. Solenne had to go touch him. As Luna of the pack, she had this calming effect on people. When she touched them when they were distressed, they became kind of relaxed. “What did you see, Levi?” Levi took a few seconds before he was more relaxed. Then he answered. “He also came holding his staff of skulls.” Staff of skulls? Solenne had heard and known many things about him but nothing about the deathly army or the staff of skulls. Solenne adjusted her black veil and held Levi, who was already beginning to choke. It seemed he had been touched by one of the Armored Alpha's warriors. The warriors usually had poison on their gloves. Poison even stronger than wolfsbane. Our wolfsbane arrows would be no match for them. “What is the armor of skulls?” Solenne asked Levi. Levi was about to answer before something scary happened. A dark cloud came over the pack and the ground began to shake. An earthquake? Not really that much of an earthquake because the ground began to open, swallowing some of our warriors. The Armored Alpha came with a surprise this time. Solenne heard his curse also came with the power of darkness and necromancy. “Luna Solenne, help us!!” A warrior shrieked while he was swallowed by the moving ground. “You're an Alpha wolf! Turn and fight for us!!” “Our families need us. My baby is still young. I cannot die now. Please, help!!” Through the mindlink, Roman spoke to Solenne. He noticed the distress and his tone was rude. “Well, don't just stand there, help our people!! You are Luna. Your first duty is to the pack!!” Some of the Armored Alpha's warriors had already reached them and they were killing the pack's warriors so she turned into my wolf. Despite the trauma, Solenne's wolf picked up on a lot of energy, and she fought bravely. She studied the consistency of the holes that formed in the ground. They were two holes and they took time to rotate around where they were standing. Solenne's wolf picked Levi up with her mouth and dropped him on the balcony of the pack's official home building. It seemed the opposition warriors fought with a sort of magic that made them hide in-between the shadows the Armored Alpha produced. Only Alpha wolves like Solenne and Roman could see them. Alpha wolves had a special sight, so it was not far-fetched. After she had dropped a bettered Levi, she wanted to return back to fight when Dilara came of the house. Her face was puffy and her hair was messy. She stunk—-reeking of s*x and saliva!! “Go inside the house and hide!!” Solenne ordered. “All the women and children are hidden for safety. This war is only for Alpha Wolves and warriors.” Solenne would have wished for the rotating ground to swallow Dilara. But she was not that kind of person. “You don't get to tell me what to do,” Dilara sneered. “My pup is going to be born into this pack. It is also my duty to protect his father. After all, it is his father and my husband-to-be’s pack.” “Dilara, this attack is not simple. We're still trying–” Dilara ignored Solenne and jumped onto the bare ground. She was about to pop into one of the rotating holes when Solenne helped to push her across the safety. She fell to the ground and Solenne picked her up and took her to lay next to Levi. She was grateful at first. “Thank you so much, Solenne, my pup will forever be grateful.” But suddenly, when Roman and her father, Alpha Ian arrived, Dilara changed. The rotating holes had stopped. Only darkness remained. Roman ran straight to touch Dilara, surprised to see her laying next to a bruised Levi. “Dilara, you shouldn't be outside here. You should be resting or hiding with other women and kids,” Roman said, rubbing her belly gently. Jealousy pricked Solenne. She was filled with wounds and scars, yet Roman had not bothered to check if she were okay. “I was resting, when Solenne came to my room, dragging me out and telling me I had to join them. She said she didn't care if I were pregnant, that my pup would also be a member of this pack. So, I needed to join the battle. I begged her, but she dragged me here,” Dilara lied and sobbed onto Roman. Roman and Alpha Ian immediately shot Solenne evil glares. “You’re so wicked,” Roman spat! “That's not all, when I came out to stand on the porch, she pushed me and I fell to my feet. I think she is jealous because she is barren. She wants me to have a miscarriage so I can be like her!” What?! Liar!!! The only person that could testify to Solenne's innocence would be Levi. She looked at him, but he had passed out. “I….” Solenne was short of words. She couldn't even prove my innocence. Alpha Ian hissed. “You'll pay for this, Solenne. But for now, let's find a safe place for Dilara–maybe hide inside too, till this madness is over.” He walked towards Roman and the both of them proceeded into the house. Fear gripped Solenne and goosebumps swallowed her skin as she heard a clicking Armor nearby. The Armored Alpha was coming. “Please, let me join you. I am tired and almost giving up. I cannot fight again.” “Join us?” Roman mocked. “Fight to the death, Solenne. There's no room for you inside. The protection bunker I have is full. It's only four people.” Alpha Denzel had picked up Levi. “You are the Luna of the pack and my wife, remember? So protect the pack while I make sure my fated mate and pup are safe and protected.” And with this, Roman entered the house, Dilara in his arms. So, Roman had taken his sweetheart inside to escape the wrath of the Armored Alpha while Solenne was left here to die? How more could she take? How long did she have to continue? If she died tonight, it would be the happiest day of her life. While trying to get herself together, she heard the whinnying of a horse that abruptly stopped. Grave silence filled everywhere and soon after, the atmosphere of everywhere was filled with a very strong Alpha pull, the one that forced everyone to go on their knees. The Armored Alpha was here.
