AURELIA Every step feels heavy. I keep reconsidering, asking myself over and over if getting in trouble will be worth what I am doing. I could just wait till tomorrow, but for some reason not being able to figure this out just messes with my head. So, yup! As much as I feel like I should not be going up these stairs, I keep doing so. And when I do finally reach the door, not much has changed. I am still doubtful about this. I have a hard time believing that things will end well. Whatever! I just bite the bullet and hoist my fist, knuckle on the wooden door, and even without a response, I push the door open. My already glued smile drops when the first person I see is Chantel and not Alpha Bale. She looks at me like I am some stinky bag of garbage that just exploded into the room.
