Chapter Two

The ambulance shows up in a few minutes and put me outside of it, the three Windfalls come as well. The police ask what happened to make me damage my throat more. His answer is, "We were watching the news when we received the news the Mr. and Mrs. Ethan passed in jail and Love have let out a blood curling scream and began to cough up blood." We arrive at the hospital a short while later, a memory comes to me, 'it was a warm April night and my parents were driving to get me from work. Then an huge SUV hit the front the vehicle making the glass shatter cutting both of my parents, I walked out of my restaurant, locked the door and turned around expecting to see my parents. Suddenly, a blazing of sirens were very, very close, I saw the SUV and then my parents' vehicle under it.' My eyes pop open and I mouth, 'Mom, Luke,' I hear the doctor saying, "Love won't be able to speak ever again."

I see a bell and begin to ring it, and the doctor comes running in and asks, "Do you need anything?" I pointed to the Windfalls. The doctor leads them inside, tears streamed down my cheeks and onto my pillow making it wet. I look up at my family and study them, Luke, his hand is resting on mine and his eyes are full of hope. Mom, her eyes are filled with tears and face, white with fear of me not able to speak again. Luke's dad, pain in his eyes and wishes of me to speak. I pointed to him and type on my tablet that is beside me, Dad, that is what you are to me.

The doctor then says, "We have to do some tests there for Windfalls, I need you to leave."

The doctor open the door and leads them back to the door but, I kick and punch the bed, the I type lighting fast, "NO! They WON'T leave! If they DO because if YOU, YOU WON'T be doing ANY tests on me, okay, understand, DOCTOR?" The doctor nods and says they can stay while he does the testes. The doctor looks at the inside of my mouth and feels my neck.

When the tests are over, the doctor says, "I'm sorry, I have very very bad news," the air seems like it's all being sucked out of the room, "Love won't be able to speak again." I grab my pillows and thew them at doctor; the doctor let us go home and Luke offered to drive because it seems like Mom's legs are like jelly. Dad tells Luke to sit back with me and comfort me. I quickly type something to Luke so he can tell Mom and Dad, "I know who had killed my parents!"

"Who?" Mom, Dad and Luke ask at the same time.

"Auntie and Uncle did."

Mom's eyes widen, "Why? How?"

I close my eyes and say, "Uncle was drunk, he and Auntie were going to get dinner at my place and they didn't see my parent's car and it was ran over by their SUV." Luke rests his head on my shoulder. We turn our house's neighboring road; I'm puzzled and type, "Did we turn to early?"

Mom, Dad and Luke smile, "No, we didn't Love."

When the car stops, Mom and Dad tell me to enter the house. I enter it and the rest follow, my mouth falls open when I see a sign that reads, "Dear Love, I love you, not just because you've been through a lot but because you are the one who makes me happy. I want to be with you forever, Love Ray Goldenheart."
