Chapter 6 ( Her First Day At Work)

It was her first day of work at Ezekiel Company.

At syempre nag ayos sya Ng bonggang bongga. It's means pina pangit nya Ang sarili nya as possible.

Ofcourse she can't afford to make Ezekiel Stevan notice her or everything in her plan will be wasted.

" Good morning kuya guard." Malakas na pagbati ni Letisha sa guard na dati ay humarang sa kanya. Madalas talaga siyang magtanim Ng sama Ng loob. " Here's my ID." Ipinaskil nya din Ang pinaka maganda nyang ngiti.

" Pasok Po kayo." Magalang na wika nito na tila ba kabado.

Mabilis na pumasok SI Letisha. Ayaw nya din kaseng malate.

Hindi nya pa din makalimutan Ang pagtawag nito sa kanyang pulubi. Kaya ano ang mawawala sa simpleng revenge nya. Bukod dito Wala na din Naman sya na gagawin since mabait naman ito.

" Good morning Sir." Pagbati ni Letisha Ng Makita nya SI Ezekiel na naghihintay Ng elevator as usual nasa tabi nito si Nico. Mukang sira pa din Ang executive elevator. Letisha really wish na Hindi na ito Maayos.

" I heard that you live where Nico apartment building is?" Napatingin SI Letisha Kay Ezekiel dahil sa sinambit nito. She live where?

"In where?" Naguguluhan na tanong nya.

" In Nico apartment building. I feel like I saw you there yesterday." Nabalik sa sarili SI Letisha dahil sa sinambit nito.

" Me?" Ulit na tanong nya at pumasok sa elevator Ng pumasok SI Ezekiel. Tahimik Naman na nakasunod sa kanila SI Nico.

" Yes." Tiningnan sya ni Ezekiel na nasa gilid nya. " Isn't it you?"

Letisha gulped. Oh my god? Why is she in such a dead end on her very own first day?

" No, it's not me. My hair is black not brown." Pagtanggi at umiwas Ng tingin sa binata.

" Ohh really." Ang tanging sinambit ni Ezekiel at muling tumingin sa harap.

Makahinga na sana Ng maluwag SI Letisha when Nico interrupt again." But wait, How did you know that the girl have brown hair not black?" Tanong ni Nico at tumapat sa kanya.

Para bang tinakasan na Ng kulay si Letisha. What did she just said? " Didn't you tell me?" Kabadong tanong nya.

Nico shook his head. " No." Madiin na bigkas nito na tila ba siyang nagpahina sa mga tuhod Ng dalaga. " Boss just said she meet. She never describe what that girl looks like." Nakataas Ang kilay na Turan nito habang nakatingin sa kanya.

Letisha once again gulped. Why is she so careless? How come she said those things?

." It's just a guess. Guess!" Pinilit nyang ngumiti.

" Ohh Guess." Napatango SI Nico. " You are good at guessing. Why don't we try do lottery together." Suggest nito na ngiti ngiti pa.

At that time the door of the Elevator open. Unang lumabas SI Ezekiel paglabas nito ay mabilis siyang sinundan Ng dalaga ngunit bago siya umalis ay inapakan nya Muna Ng madiin Ang paa ni Nico kaya namilipit ito sa Sakit.

" Could I ask something about work to you Sir? If I still doesn't understand Secretary Nico teaching?" Letisha gently asked. Of Course she needed all possible reasons to stay beside Ezekiel.

Kung Hindi How can she have a connection with Ezekiel? Moreover, her physical appearance isn't that great. So she needs to work so hard in order for Ezekiel Stevan to love her.

" Alright." Pagsang ayon nito Saka pumasok na sa office nito.

" Thank you sir." Pasasalamat nya and sit on one of the couches waiting for Nico.

Ezekiel Company has 55 floors. Just like other companies. The top floor is where Ezekiel Office is located. In these floor bukod sa office Ng binata. The secretary office lang Ang nandito.

That means that if Nico is gone. Then only her and Ezekiel will be left on the top floor. Isn't that just great?

" Why are you smiling at Lisha? That's scary." Napa angat Ang tingin Ng dalaga sa nagsalita. It was Nico.

" Smiling brings the joy everyday kaya." Katwiran nya.

" Not to you." Tawa tawa na Sagot nito Saka inilapag Ang mga gamit sa mesa malapit sa kanya.

" Ang Husgado mo talaga Nico." Inis nyang sambit sa binata. Nico laughed. " I'm just joking Lisha. You're the only one I can talk in this whole floor. We should be friends." Tumingin ito sa kanya na may ngiti sa labi.

Letisha just rolled her eyes pero syempre Hindi niya pinakita Kay Nico. Ayaw nya Naman na Makita nito Ang tunay nyang ugali. " You're already Sir Ezekiel Secretary. Why need to hire one again?" Curious na tanong nya at inayos Ang gamit nya.

" The Whole Stevan company is large. Just one secretary won't be enough." Napatango SI Letisha sa sagot na iyon ni Nico. It do makes sense.

In Her Company. Only Alice is her secretary. It's also because she found out That Ezekiel has two. So if she can manage the company with just one. Then she's more capable than Ezekiel right?

It's a childish act but who cares? It's fun.

Inaamin nya Naman that she really likes competing with Ezekiel even to the tiniest things. Afterall Ezekiel Stevan is a genius in the Business World and she doesn't like failure. Hoping to defeat him one day.

But of course that goal already changed since the day that she slept with that handsome Monster. Ezekiel Stevan.

Now her goal is not to defeat him but to be his wife.

" What's all of this?" Reklamo nya Ng mag patong SI Nico Ng mga papel sa table nya.

The anger expression of Letisha disappear immediately.

Then Stevan and I are alone on this floor?

Hindi niya matago Ang excitement na nararamdaman.

Inayos ni Letisha Ang mga papel pati Ang sarili nya. She's gonna face Ezekiel kaya. She might not be beautiful but at least she will be presentable.

Sa sobrang galing nya sa trabaho siguradong ilang Oras lang Ang mga papel na ito sa table niya dahil matatapos nya agad ito. She's not known as the most powerful woman of the Business World. If she can't deal with simple papers.

Afterall her goal isn't to work for him but to smitten Ezekiel Stevan.

Knock - Knock

" Sir, would you like a coffee?" Pinilit nyang wag palandiin Ang boses.

" Come in." Narinig ni Letisha nasambit ni Ezekiel. Lumawak Ang ngiti sa labi Ng dalaga as she open the door of his office.

" Here's your coffee sir filled with Love---- I mean with lots of creamer as you said." She displays her most beautiful smile Infront of Ezekiel.

" You must do research to know that I like cream?" Binaba ni Ezekiel Ang hawak na mga papel and looked at Letisha.

" It's not the only one I know. I also know you're wild in bed." Letisha said. Imagining that night.

" What?" Nabalik sa sarili Ang dalaga dahil sa sinambit na iyon ni Ezekiel.

Gusto nyang sampalin Ang sarili Ng marealize Ang sinabi Nya.

" I mean ummm--- Sir your house and bed---- must be so organized ----umm and clean." She awkwardly said.

" Hmm." Ang syang sinambit lang ni Ezekiel as he start drinking the coffee that Letisha bought. " The coffee is good." Komento nito kaya muling bumalik Ang ngiti sa labi ni Letisha.

" Of Course sir. I made it only for you."

Ezekiel nodded and a smile appeared on his lips. Letisha felt that small smile take her breath away.

How could this man be so gorgeous?

" Where's Nico?"

" Umm,he said. He needs to inspect something." Sagot nya. " Then could you get me some files now?" He gently asked her. " What is it Sir?" Afterall she needs to play her part as his secretary.

" Could you give me the files from X Investment company?"

" What time do you need it Sir?" She pouted. Gusto nya pa sanang makasama SI Ezekiel sa office nito pero syempre Wala Naman syang choice noh. Secretary kaya Ang role nya.

" Give it to me 5 minutes from now." Napanganga SI Letisha sa sinambit na iyon ni Ezekiel.

" 5 minutes sir?" Hindi makapaniwala na tanong nya.

She thought that it was just a rumor that Ezekiel Stevan is such a workaholic. As in he wants everything to be settle as soon as possible.

" Yes, Could you give it to me after 5 minutes." Malumanay na muling Turan Ng binata.

She really thought it was just a rumor. So that's why Nico was too happy earlier but...

" Yes, Sir." Sagot nya na lang at lumabas.

But actually he believes that rumor. In Her Company she was also known as a workaholic woman that was absolutely a lie. She just acts like that to compete with Ezekiel but of course in the end. She'll end up losing as always.

Letisha gently closed the door of Ezekiel Office.

" Who?" Tanong ni Letisha sa sarili Ng mag vibrate Ang phone na dala nya sa bulsa Ng suot nyang attire.

She smiled when she saw the callers name. " An." Sambit nya pagsagot Ng tawag.

" I'm in the office. I told you to not call me unless it's an emergency." Hininaan nya Ang boses.

" Letisha, I saw him." Letisha frowned. Hearing her bestfriend tone she was like trembling.

" Who----" She was about to ask her what she mean when a man Infront of her appear.

" Are you Ezekiel Stevan Secretary?" Unti unting inangat ni Letisha Ang kanyang tingin. Only to see a handsome man na Hindi nalalayo sa edad ni Ezekiel. He have brown hair and a pair of Black eyes but this man aura was too dangerous.

Even if he was smiling. Letisha doesn't know why she's afraid.

" I talk to you later." Binaba nya Ang tawag bago pa makasagot ang kaibigan and face the man who is In Front of her. " Do you have an appointment with Sir Ezekiel?" Malumanay na tanong nya.

The man smiled but Letisha doesn't know she felt it's not a smile at all.

" Ezekiel and I are friends. Appointment is not necessary." Sagot nito.

" But I still need to tell him."

" Is he here?" Tanong nito. " Yes." Sagot nya.

The man walked towards Ezekiel's office. " Sir you can't come in like that. I will be fired." Patuloy na pagtutol nya.

" Don't worry. I talk to him." Hindi na napigilan ni Letisha Ang binata sa pagpasok.

The way that Man acts. He knows Ezekiel. Maybe they are really friends but that man aura it's so damn terrifying.

Who is he?

" You already finished------" Napatigil SI Ezekiel sa dapat sabihin Ng Hindi Ang sekretarya Ang siyang pumasok sa kanyang office.

" Lucas." Napatayo sya sa pagkakaupo upon seeing his friend enter his office. " What are you doing here? I thought that you already come back to America?" Tanong nya.

" I think I will be staying to the Philippines for a while." Wika nito at na upo sa upuan malapit sa desk ni Ezekiel.

" Why?" Naka kunot noo na tanong ni Ezekiel at muling naupo.

He knows Lucas. He wouldn't stay to the Philippines if it wasn't important.

" Don't tell me." Tiningnan ni Ezekiel Ang kaibigan na Ngayon ay Meron Ng mapaglarong ngiti sa mga labi.

" Yes, I found her in the Philippines, that's why I must stay here. To capture the kitten who once ran away from me."

Na Tahimik SI Ezekiel dahil sa sinabi Ng kaibigan at na pailing iling.

Among the four of them. Lucas is the most terrible because the obsession that he has can destroy everyone.

" She already escaped you. Don't you think it was enough to let her go?"

Lucas shook his head. He now looks like a psycho who is ready to claim anyone.
