Chapter 27 - All Things End
Evan had forgotten. That was the question he wanted to ask. "You're right. There was a picture with you and your family. You looked exactly the same. I thought maybe it was some uncanny familial likeness. But the more I thought about it, the more I had questions." "Ok. The story I told you was true. My family was killed that night. I hid out for a long time. I hid the drugs in that room you wandered into. Then came the rats. They started eating the drugs. They were zipping all over the place. Then, the drug runners found the stash. And me. They weren't impressed with my plan to take their stuff. They decided to shoot me. I died that day. I watched as the deranged rats started eating my flesh. I don't know why I didn't pass on with my family. I just kept walking these halls. Aunt Charlotte
