“Heath Cosgrove is a friend of mine,” Eli said across the table in the interrogation room. “We were hanging out at my place last night and he told me something shocking.”
“What?” Alexis asked, placing her hands on her lap.
“He said he and Gari argued the day before she was killed.”
Penelope propped her elbow on the table.
“It was bad too.” Eli shifted in the chair. “He says it got physical.”
“Did you ever witness any violence between he and Gari?” Alexis asked.
Eli shook his head. “But he’d felt pushed by Gari because she kept threatening to take Latasha. Heath said he couldn’t let that happen no matter what he had to do to stop it.”
