CHAPTER NINE
Alexis and Penelope headed to Alexis’ car as two women showing their midriffs, entered the tattoo shop.
“You think Divina did it?” Penelope asked.
“Too soon to know for sure.” Alexis got her keys out and unlocked her car. “We can’t forget about Heath either.”
They got in the car and Alexis’ phone rang before she shut the door.
“Better not be Grant.” She got her phone out her pocket, and Leo’s name blinked on the screen. “It’s Leo.”
Penelope smiled, putting on her seatbelt.
“Hey, what’s up?” Alexis asked him.
“Base called me. He talked to Reva, the junky.”
Alexis tapped the steering wheel. “Okay?”
“She was dope sick, so it was hard for him to get much out of her plus she was scared of what we’d do with the information.”
