When I opened my eyes again, the first thing I saw was the uneven rocky ceiling of a cave. The cave was dimly lit, shrouded in a dreamlike, hazy glow. A soft blue-green light seemed to seep from within the rocks, or perhaps it was emitted by some kind of luminescent moss or mineral. For a moment, I almost forgot where I was. Then, a stinging pain shot through my left arm. The memories before I lost consciousness flooded back, and I bolted upright—only then realizing that I had been lying on a stone bed. I glanced around. Near the wall, slightly to my front left, was a large, irregularly shaped boulder, about a meter in size. Its surface was relatively flat. And on top of it—there was a metal lunchbox! A surge of joy welled up in my chest. Could it be that I wasn't alone in this forest?
