James's POV

“Well, Freddy I was on my way to see you even before we had an accident” I said as I waited for the woman to wake up.

“Really? You should have called me sir instead of coming all the way here by yourself. Now look what has just happened” he said

“I just wanted to pass by here before I headed for work and it's not like I wanted to be treated. I just wanted to talk and I believe you have a line of patients waiting to be attended to”

“Okay, what's your emergency Mr McLain?”

“Well, I have been wanting to have a child with my wife Christine for too long but now it turns out that she can't have a baby so we decided to take another route”I paused waiting for his reply

“Which is?” he asked

“We decided to do surrogacy and that's the reason why I'm here”.

“Well first Mr McClain, I think you should have come with your wife.I should have run a few tests on her to confirm whether she cannot give birth.

“You know how she is Freddy, she doesn't like hospitals very much and as we speak, she is in Paris doing what she loves most”.

“But I think this too is important, even if it's not about taking samples on her again she should at least be here when both of you are taking this big decision.We even need her egg and your sperm to form an embryo that will be put in the uterus of a surrogate”

“Well, I guess I'll just inform her on the phone about that but right now what I need is a surrogate.Can you help me find one suitable to carry my child.I'll pay for all the costs for as long as you find me a fertile surrogate mother. And if you find a suitable one tell them to name their price.I just want the process to be done as soon as possible Freddy as I wait for Christine to get back here because soon as she steps in the country, I want

the transfer process done. I need a baby like ASAP” I told Freddy

“ Alright sir, I'll be doing my research to make sure I give you a fertile, potential surrogate mother”

“ I can be a surrogate mother if you don't mind sir” I looked at the woman on the bed who had just woken up and was asking to be our surrogate. she was a small girl, dark brown hair with big brown eyes around 5'2.She looked a bit pale I don't know if it was from her accident but according to me she didn't look like the surrogate I was looking for.

“No miss, I don't think you can be my surrogate”

“Why? We can make samples with your doctor here to make sure that I'm fertile to carry your child”.

“Well young lady, I'm not discussing this with you and it's not good for people to jump in other people's conversations..” “But I didn't intend to eavesdrop.I just woke up and heard you and the doctor talking about it. It's not my fault”

“Whatever woman, I'm not discussing this with you.Take this, go find something to eat and drink.I think we are done here”I said giving her $200 since all the hospital bills were covered by me.

“Please make me a surrogate, sir I really need a huge sum of money right now and I can give you all the babies you want. Please just help me out”She said and I was starting to think she was insane.

“How old are you young lady?” Freddy asked

“I am 21”

“Have you ever given birth?” he asked again.

“No never” she replied

“Well sorry Miss there's no way I can guarantee that you will have a safe delivery with no complications since you have not given birth before” Freddy said.

“There is a first time for everything doctor.You can do the samples sir, please help me I need to save my sister's life now.She has a few hours left to live but they can't work on her if I don't have any money” she pleaded. I didn't know what to say to her

“Well Freddy, I better get going I have a meeting in 15 and please make all the research needed. I need a 100% suitable surrogate remember” I said looking at the girl once more and then left the room.

Chloe's POV

Soon as the billionaire left the hospital, tears rolled again down my face. The world was so cruel, did no one give a f*** about someone else's emergency. I had failed to convince the guy and I was already wasting my time sitting at this hospital bed. I had to get going. Without saying a word, I pushed myself forward and my feet touched the floor. I was so upset that I couldn't even look at the doctor in front of me.

“Where are you going?” The doctor asked and I turned to look at him raising my eyebrow at him.

Wasn't it obvious?

“Home, Thanks for the treatment.” I said to him

He then stood up and picked a file then passed it to me.

“Fill in this Medical form, the hospital needs information about every patient we treat”

I put my name, my address and some other necessary information they wanted. When I was done, I stepped out of the hospital.It was a big hospital.I just wished I could afford to bring my sister here.

When I left the hospital, I continued with my plans of looking for the manager of the famous brothel in town. When I was there, I realized that the place didn't seem as busy as it always was at night. I went straight to the receptionist .

“How may we help you ?”she asked

“I would like to talk to the manager” I replied and she looked me up and down like I was some piece of trash.

“He can't talk now, he is resting”was her reply

“But I need to see him.It's an emergency”I replied

The girl yelled at me. “Don't you have ears? I told you he is resting he spent the whole night working. What are you? his daughter?

I know girls like you, you want a spot here but just so you know this place is already full.There's no work for you here.I don't think you can even attract a fly with the way you look young lady” I turned to leave. ‘What was I even thinking coming to this place? ‘money’ my Conscious replied. I had no where else to go. Fresh tears rolled again and by now I believe I looked like a mess.I was running out of time.

As I was about to leave the premises, I had the voice I despised but urgently needed at the moment.

“Look who is here”Felix said.

I got relieved knowing that I was finally meeting this guy.

“I knew you would come to me some day angel” he said licking his lips.I didn't know what to reply so I just kept quiet.

“ I believe you finally accepted my offer and are coming to work for me right?” he asked his eyes wondering all over my body.

“Of course I came to work but first, I need some money but you will deduct it from my salary”

“hahaha you're so funny.You don't call shots here honey”

“Like I said, I urgently need money right now that's why I'm here”.

“How much are we talking about?” he asked

“100,000 million dollars”

“You think I'm going to give you all that money all at once when you haven't even worked for a minute at this brothel”

“Please, I really need the money to save my sister.I will even work extra hours for free if i have to”

I did some more pleading but soon the guy agreed and gave me the money.I was the happiest girl in the world at the moment, I quickly rushed back to the hospital to see that my sister gets an operation.I hoped it wasn't too late.
