I can't believe everything is finally falling into place. It's taken too many centuries to prepare, looking and seeking. I almost didn't expect it to happen in this century, I was beginning to give up hope, in fact, I had. I would just live out the remaining few decades and wait and see if the next one would be my lucky chance. Until that night when Hikka came down.
At first, I rushed there, wanting to take out my revenge on her but decided against it. It would take most of my powers to fight her, so instead of killing myself I hid and listened to everything she said. She was clever though to cloak the house with protection so that no one could enter the house where the stupid guardian mates were. So, I waited outside.
The next morning, I waited around until I saw one of them, I was seriously surprised to find out it was a human. This will be so much easier than I hoped. So, I left and sent my minions who directed them right into my clutches.
From there everything was easy…almost. I approached that pup Lorenzo and gave him misguided information. I had hoped the scare of losing their mates would make them follow my advice but they didn't and I had to go for plan two. That means forcing them to mate.
You see, if they mate in this Motel on a night that is not a full moon, my magic will siphon their powers that they are to receive during mating and I would embark on my revenge. So, in a fit of temper the pup came down and Oh was I waiting, am sure he is still wondering what happened. HA! HA! HA! HAA!
I was still celebrating in my mind when the blood suckered and the human came down looking for their mate.
"Excuse us, Madam, have you seen our friend? The one who booked our room earlier? “
I schooled my emotions of victory and answered in a boring tone that he had left by the door earlier. I didn't care for a reply so I flipped them off and continued to look at my laptop screen. Watching everything that was happening in my Motel. I could see my minions feed in one of the rooms, the pup sitting in his cell, the other guests that were lucky enough not to die tonight and lastly the parking lot where the mates were looking for one of theirs. I expected them to drive away but they turned to come back. So, in haste, I went to the door and created a portal. Luckily, I had everything ready. Even in my centuries of sorcery, I still have to do some things like normal witches, just luckily, I do it quicker.
As soon as they went through, I closed the portal and giving another evil laugh, I followed them just using the normal doors. I summoned one of my minions, their leader her mortal name was Jessa. She knew what to do so I left for the night. To attend to my VIPs.
"Geloé” ((pronounced as Jul-o-ee))
Ah, my sister is here. And they call me the evil one yet she is the one that comes after me. Ha!
“Greetings dear sister, how can I help you? “I asked innocently.
“Stop with the games Geloé. Haven't you been punished enough!? "
“I don't know what you are talking about Hikka, now out of my way I have important things to do. “I can do this all night, annoying her is worth it. Ha! Ha!
“Let them go, do not interfere with Fate. “
“Oh, am so scared, am going to hide under my bed and weep now!” I answered full of sarcasm.
Why can't she just show herself and let's fight this out? Killing her will be a bonus to my plans. She must be really stupid to come here and try to stop me. I have worked on this plan for centuries, year after year I have had to wait and hunt down the guardians. Now that I have them, not all of them as I had hoped, I am not letting anyone mortal or immortal stop me. I wonder how my minions lost the other two.
“Am warning you Geloé, this time round I will not hold back the Fates. So, let the go. "
She is on about it again, reminding me that she begged the fates not to send me into limbo. Can't she see am grateful for that, that's the only reason why I haven't killed her? Plus, I don't care if I get sent to limbo, as long as the gates are open for the furies by then. We all know it will take more than one true mating bond to close them and with these ones out of the way, it will be a while before they find a replacement. Heck! It took a millennium to replace Hikka's team.
"Nothing you say will deter me from my path, I made up my mind a long time ago."
Not wanting to deal with her anymore I started chanting, casting a spell that will show where she is.
But unluckily she left before I was done. Coward. If she thought she could stop me, why is, she hiding in the shadows. She is no march for my dark magic and she knows that.
Checking my time, I realized I only have two hours left. I had to make sure they mate at exactly midnight. With more determination than ever, I materialized in my altar. I had to prepare it first, then get the boys ready. Oh, this is going to be so much fun.
Once at my altar I took my ceremonial goblet and knife then called one of the strongest minions and without wasting more time I sliced his throat open and let his black blood fill the cup. Pushing the bosh aside I walked towards my lifeline sigil drawn on the floor. I sat down monk style and started chanting, calling upon the, dark forces to give me more strength.
Raising the goblet to my mouth, I took a sip. I instantly felt as if my body was recharged.
