FORBIDDEN LOVE

CHAPTER 15

Kendra is not aware that the secret she has been keeping judiciously is out. She is so obsessed with destroying Bella but she might end up destroying herself. Eve received a call from Patrick and rushed to meet him at his office.

_EVE: babe you sounded so worried on the phone, I had to abandon lectures just to come here. What's the problem?

Patrick told her everything that happened earlier without omitting any details. Eve was shocked at all the Revelations.

_EVE: I can't believe that girl is this shameless. So she wants to trap Richmond and make him a father to a child who is not he's. I won't let that happen. I have to go now babe. Bella most hear this.( Walking away)

_ PATRICK: Hey babe, don't tell me that you are going. Don't I deserve a kiss? 

_EVE: hahahaha you love kissing a lot.

_PATRICK: That's why you love being around me.

After giving her sweetheart a passionate kiss , Eve rushed home to inform Bella about what Patrick said.

Bella was home doing her assignments when Eve arrived.

_BELLA: Eve I thought you had lectures.what brings you home?

_EVE: you won't believe where I'm coming from and what I learned.

_BELLA: Hmmmm, what is it this time around ? don't tell me you saw Patrick with another woman.

_EVE: hahahaha I Wish that was the case because what I'm about to say is more serious.

Eve told Bella everything without leaving out any details. Bella could not help shedding tears.

_BELLA: Some people are very wicked in this world. Is it a crime for someone to say they don't love you? Kendra is determined to deal with me forgetting that Richmond does not love her and that she might end up destroying herself and her father's career.

_EVE: talking about her father's career; imagine the scandal that tape will create if it surfaces online . Elections are fast approaching and her father's competitor's will use it against him.

_BELLA: He will be so  disappointed in Kendra.

_EVE: Don't let any of these things affect you ok ? Your love for Richmond should be your strength.when all this is over you will finally enjoy your relationship.

_BELLA: thanks eve.i don't know what I would have become without you.

_EVE: I know; you would have become a cry baby.But it's good to cry some times hahahaha

_BELLA: hahahaha.

Bella called Richmond later In the Evening and told him everything.He became very furious and asked Bella to forward Patrick's number so he can call. Richmond called Patrick who was still at the hospital so they decided to meet somewhere in town .

_RICHMOND: Good evening Thanks for coming . have a seat please .

_PATRICK: Good evening Richmond. 

_RICHMOND: We met in a very delicate situation and we didn't have the time to present ourselves. Thank you for coming to Bella's rescue.

_PATRICK: That's fine Richmond.I came to rescue my woman too.

_RICHMOND: Bella told me everything that happened in your office today and I must say that I least expected this from Kendra.

_PATRICK: She's a wolf in sheep's clothing. What do you intend to do?

_RICHMOND: I'm still thinking but that notwithstanding let me have the tape if you don't mind.

_PATRICK: OK, let me forward it to you via w******p. We have to share with the girls too, one never knows.But we don't have to mention her pregnancy, I might lose my license because it's against the ethics of my profession to disclose a patient's results.

_RICHMOND: That's a good idea.trust me I will handle this without creating any scandal.

Richmond went home that day thinking about what he will do with the tape.he has to use it to his favour without inconveniencing anyone.

Kendra on the other side was restless thinking of what to do to Bella.Thats when the idea of k********g her came to her mind.

_KENDRA: I will see who will rescue you this time Bella, I'm smarter than you think. I'm in this situation because of you.Richmond would have been mine if you didn't come into the picture.well let's see how it goes.

After talking to herself she called her spy and explained the plan .They went and checked an uncomplicated building to make sure the place was well hidden.

_KENDRA: Well well , this place is not bad , I think after I'm done with her she will never cross my path again.go and bring her to me.

_UNKNOWN: Right away miss.

Eve went out with Patrick so Bella was home alone.the door was slightly opened so she didn't notice that there was an intruder in the house .She was in the kitchen trying to warm some food when someone held her from behind and before she could realize what was happening , the man was already sealing her mouth.there was no way to shout. Bella's face was covered so she didn't know where they were taking her to.Her kidnapper made a call and she heard a familiar female voice.She immediately realized it was actually Kendra and started panicking.

When Eve came back few hours later, the door was wide open and when she got in, Everything was in tact but Bella was nowhere.she went to the kitchen and saw Bella's slippers and her phone lying beside the kitchen sink,on the floor was a necklace Bella has been wearing .Eve immediately sensed that there was danger.she rushed to the living room and called Richmond.

_ EVE: Hello in-law ( Richmond) is Bella with you?

_RICHMOND: no, I just came back from work now. Is there any problem?

_EVE: something is not right.i left her in the house before going out with Patrick only to come back and meet the door wide opened.her phone, slippers and necklace were lying in The kitchen.i think Bella is in danger ( crying)

_RICHMOND: Don't panic Eve, I'm coming there right away. 

His house was not far so he arrived at Bella's place in 20 minutes.

_RICHMOND: Have you called her friend Rose?

_EVE: Rose is not in town now. Where could Bella go at this time of the night?

While they were still contemplating, Richmond's phone started rigging.it was an unknown number.

_RICHMOND: hello.who is on the line?

_UNKNOWN: I'm not here for formalities.I have your woman and I won't hurt her if you cooperate.

Richmond's heart nearly left his chest.

_RICHMOND: please don't hurt her, tell me what you want and I promise to cooperate.

He dropped without saying anything so Richmond started calling and his phone was switched off.

_EVE: Who was that?

_RICHMOND: Bella has been kidn*pped and the call is coming from her kidnapper.

He told Eve everything and she started crying. 

Kendra sneaked out of  the house after receiving a call from the kidnappers.Her dad came in later and discovered that she was not in her bedroom. A file lying on her bed caught his father's attention.He took the file and what he saw nearly gave him a heart attack.

_MR GEORGE: What is all this? Kendra is pregnant and she did not even tell me . No no no not my daughter.she can't do this to me .I have so much hopes in her .

After lamenting for a while, Mr George decided to keep the file and wait for Kendra to come back and explain.kendra arrived the uncompleted building and was very happy to see how Bella was being tied up.she burst into laughter and asked her men to remove the cloth covering Bella's face.

_ BELLA: It's strange but I'm not surprised to see you.I knew that you were behind all this.But my question is what do you think you will gain after this?

Kendra gave her a dirty slap.

_KENDRA: You are the reason why I'm doing all this.I warned you to leave Richmond but you were so reluctant.you see where your stubbornness has landed you? I will deal with you and when I'm done your love for Richmond will expire.

_BELLA: hahahaha, you really have little knowledge about love, the reason why you are acting this way.if you love someone you will let them go ,you will be able to sacrifice so they can be happy. I might lose Richmond but I bet you that he will never look at you .

_KENDRA: shut up( giving her another slap)

_ BELLA: Is that all you've got ? hahahaha look at you , pretending to love someone.Your secret will be out soon.

_KENDRA: What are you talking about ( panicking)

_BELLA: hahahaha why are you panicking? Is there something you are hiding? 

_KENDRA: stop talking! 

_BELLA: Why are you nervous lover girl ( in a mockery tone)

_KENDRA: you are nothing Bella, absolutely nothing.i have everything.

_BELLA: Yet you can't make a single man love you.

Bella asked her men to tie her and cover her face again.

She went home to think about what to do next .But what she saw as she entered the house nearly gave her a heart attack. Her Dad was seated on her bed with the results of her pregnancy beside him.

_MR GEORGE: Hey my baby. Come, Why do you look so terrified?

_KENDRA: father I, Eurrrr     (stammering) 

_MR GEORGE :Is that how you were stammering when you were with the man that got you pregnant? ( With a deathly look)

At that moment, Kendra knew that she could not say anything contrary to what his Dad knew already.Her secret is out and it's just the beginning of her downfall.
