Mina was asked to sit down. She wanted to sit on the floor when a man said, "no. sit on the chair."
She obeyed and wondered what was going on?
The room was very large, with a big wooden chair with lots of carvings and designs.
Then an old man appeared. He was around seventy years old, and for a moment Mina wondered if he was Lado's father.
He wore embroidered gown over white babariga with a turban.
" Lafiya mai zaki!" He was hailed as he came in. Mina remembered him as the king when she was small and they visited with her parents.The palace servants, chiefs all kept hailing him and afterwards, they left him alone with her. What was going on?
" Aminatu."the old man said. " You came to the village and you did not bother to come and say hello to me."
She bowed her head.
