*no one POV**3 months later*

Ashley got up from bed as she noticed Ryder wasn't there but a note was.

Dear Ashley,

I had to go to the Council meeting to be a witness in Jake's trial I'll be gone for about a week maybe less please don't stress over it I'll be back soon

Ashley smelt the paper as it had Ryder's scent. She got up and walked into the bathroom. She noticed her small baby bump had begun to show. She admired it as she got ready for the day. She walked downstairs seeing her family watching the news about the recent murders.

"It's definitely a new vampire coven " Said jasmine as she scoffs in anger.

" I agree with you" Said Anna and grace as the same time.

" Nah I think it's demons" Said Dallas as she lays on Jasmine's lap.

"I think it's human familiars tryin please super naturals" Said Jace as she sat down.

"What ever it is it's gonna get the attention of the council after the trial" Ashley said as she sat next to Scarlett who was playing on her iPad. I gently brush the hair out of her face as she looks at me.

"Hi mama when will daddy be back? " She said with a sad face and tone.

"Mostly by the end of the week sweetie* Ashley said as she smiled sadly. " But hey you get to come to the doctors with me to see how your lil sibling or siblings are doing later "

"Yay! " Scarlett said as she jumped up cheering. " When are we leaving mama? "

"We are going in 2 days sweeties" Ashley said with a soft giggle. Not long after jasmine and Anna stood up.

"We are both 2 weeks pregnant" They both said at the same time. Dallas and Cameron fall back over the couches frozen in shock.

"Seriously well at least y'all only got 3 more months left of school" Said Ryan as she rubbed her temples while everyone except Dallas came looked at jasmine and Anna.

"Cousins! " Said Scarlett as her eyes practically sparkled with joy. We all laugh as Dallas and Cameron come to their senses and they lift up their mates with joy. After a while we all go our separate ways. Scarlett goes to play with the other kids as Dallas, Cameron, Jace, and Ryan spar out in the training field. Ashley, jasmine, Anna, dracina, and grace head out to the mall to look for baby stuff for the new arrivals that are coming.

*the next morning*

Everyone wakes up around 4 A. M to the house phone going off. They all walk to the office as Dallas picks it up. Her face grows from fatigue to pale and shocked.

" Jake escaped and took Ryder as a hostage they don't know where he went " She said as they all stared in shock at what she just said.

*the day before ryders POV*

I drive to the trial as I had to leave ashley really early. Luckily I left her a note to where I am and what I was gonna be doing.

'Hopefully this is done by Wednesday so I can be back for the ultrasound' I thought as I pulled up to the castle. I got out of my car and saw some jurors talking to some low class councilmen and women. I adjust and fix my tie as I walk inside.

"Ms.cress how is your mate doing? " Said a council member as he walked up to me.

"She's doing good still a little weary of other alphas but she is doing good hopefully this trial is over by Wednesday so I can make the ultrasound" I said with confidence.

"I hope so too well good luck" He said with a kinda of creepy tone.

'He seems kinda off to me' I thought as I watched him walk into the councilmen chamber. I walk in after a short while and sit down where my name plate was.

"Order order order! In the court please bring out the accused Jake Selan" The judge said as a couple of guards bring out a beaten Jake. "Jake Selan how do you plead? "

"Not guilty your honor" He said with pride.

"You are charged with 2 counts of disobeying the council's orders 4 counts of harassment against Ashley laquis 2 counts of trying to steal a mate and 1 count of unlawful treatments towards your Omega's." The judge said as she put down the paper.

"May I take the stand judge ma'am? " Jake said trying to sound sincere.

"You may" She said with a stern voice. He walked up and sat down.

"I don't apologize for my actions for I regret rejecting her I was fool and all I want is her to come back to me I can't stand that vampire being with my mate" He said as looked down. "I will be a better mate this time."

"Enough please step down" The judge said. Jake went back to his spot. "Please bring Ryder cress to the stand" I got up and walked to the stand. I sat down as the attorney trying to put Jake away stands up.

"Ms. Cress is it true you are mated to Ashley laquis" He said as he walked towards the juror.

"Yes I am we met the day after he rejected her" I said staring at him.

"What happened after that" He said.

"Well a couple of days later we showed up to school and through out I saw a crowd by ashleys locker so I walked over and seen him and his pack. He was putting his hands all over her and his pack was blocking mine from helping her. A couple more days later she was slowly going into heat and he decided to use his alpha pheromones on her since she is an omega. I wanted to wait but I had to mark and officially mate with her." I said glaring at him. "Then he came to our pack/coven with his warriors and started to threaten to take her away and kill our adopted child and unborn children. The council showed up but he decided to attack. My sister in law cameron got injured but we managed to hold them off before the council decided to intervene".

" Now I understand the first ultrasound is Wednesday? " He said.

"Yes sir" I said looking at him.

"No further questions" He said sitting down as Jake's lawyer stood up.

"Now about the whole pheromone ordeal we have no record from anyone that it was used" He said looking at me.

"I get your an human familiar sir but only Omega's can smell it and Ashley was the only Omega in the room. The rooms block off scents if a supernatural goes into heat" I said looking at him in the eyes.

"Well then may I ask you a question how is Ashley pregnant? " He said.

"I don't know how that has to do this trial" I said soon as my lawyer stood up.

"Objection your honor this has nothing to do with the case" He said.

"Sustained jury will regard the question" She said.

"No further questions" He said as he sat down.

"The jurors may determine now please meet back here by tonight" She said as she banged her gravel. The councilman from earlier stood up as he pointed his fingers at the judge blasting her with a black beam of light.

"Nobody move or the judge dies on the next beam" He said as he walked to Jake. He broke the cuffs as I jump over the stand only to get hit in the head with a beam falling to my knees. "Don't try it leach" He grabbed me by my jacket as he lifted me up. He walked to Jake as he put me down.

"Teleport us away dear friend" Jake said as he looked at me. Soon as the man teleports us he was blown into nothing but blood and chunks. Jake throws me into a cell as soon as we get to where we are.

"Soon Ashley will be mine and you and your little pack/coven will be dead" He laughed as he walked out turning the lights off leaving me in pitch black darkness.
