*Ryder POV* 1 day after ryder was kidnapped *

When I woke up I looked around the room. I tried to move but noticed I'm chained to the wall. I hear the door open as I look at it to see jake.

"Well ain't the Leach awake" He said with a chuckle. "Let's get started shall we" He walks over and uses an expo knife to cut off my pants and purposely cut my leg along the way. I just grunt not making a sound even though it hurt like a b***h. Once the blade stops he back away to a surgical table and puts the expo knife down. He grabs brass knuckles then punches me I the left side of my face. I spit out blood as I look at him.

"Give up Ashley will never love you" He said with a smirk.

"She will always love me hell she loved riding my d**k the other day you had your chance jake and you blew it" I said with a bloody smirk. He then slams the brass knuckles into my gut. I hunch over as far as the chains let me as I gasp painfully. He then walks back to the table grabbing thumb tacts. He walks back pushing the pointed edges into the cuts on my legs. I would scrunch my face still not making a sound. His face fell from joy to anger.

"SCREAM YOU b***h LET ME HEAR YOUR SCREAM" He yells as he slams his fist into my body repeatedly until I'm unrecognizable. He spits at my face just before he walks out and I slip back into darkness.

*Ashley POV* 2 days after ryder was kidnapped 1 day after she was tortured*

'I couldn't believe a councilman worked with jake. Once I find him he is dead' I thought as I paced around my room. It had been 4 days since Ryder was kidnapped and nobody can pick up her scent. I look at the ultrasound picture of my 3 little pups. I smile softly as a soft tear comes down my cheeks. I look to the door as I see scarlet walk in.

"Mama are you okay? " She said with a sad tone.

"Yes baby I just miss your daddy" I said as I hugged her.

"Me too" She said nuzzling her head into my chest. I lift her up as she clings to me like a baby koala. I walk down stairs where I see the council guard's talking to my parents and ryders parents.

" their trail went cold near fort worth,Texas we believe he may have portaled to another destination we have everyone searching for them" the guard said as she took her helmet off.

"Its been 4 days how much longer?!" Jace said as she growled deeply.

"Ma'am we are still trying to find out how he portaled when he doesn't have magic of a witch or warlock " she said bowing her head.

"Sorry for my mother in law but please find my baby" said grace as she leaned into ryan.

"Can we help in any way" jasmine said as she leaned into dallas clinging to her side.

"Anything of ryders can help it can bring us closer to finding her" the guard said as she looked jace, dracina, ryan, and grace.

"We can give you a shirt I found one of her thrasher shirts in my laundry" cameron said looking at them.

"I have her hat in my car she left from when we went to the store before she left for the trial" said dallas as she held jasmine.

"Or I can get something from our room" I said as I made myself known.

"Any of those can work" the guard said as she looked around and placed her eyes on scarlett. "Mate..."

We all look at her in shock. Scarlett looks over at the guard as her eyes sparkle.

"My mates a human..." the guard said in a tone only supernaturals could hear.

"Shes human for now but when she gets over she will decide if she wants to be a wolf or not or maybe a vampire or both " anna said as she looked at scarlett. I set scarlett down as she slowly walks over to the guard.

Jackie what's your name and age?" Jackie said as she bent down.

"I'm scarlett and I'm 10 what about you?" She said as she stared into Jackie's eyes.

"I'm only 15" she said with a smile.

"Damn your so young "said my dad with a shocked face.

"Well my father was a guard before he died and they let me take his place about a year ago"she said with a sad smile.

"You can stay here and be apart of our pack since your my daughters mate" said ryder as she walked in beaten and bloodied.

*ryder POV * earlier*

I woke up and saw it was just about noon outside.

"Good morning you been asleep for about 2 days" said a elderly woman as she walked in with medical supplies. She begins to remove bandages off my leg and other parts that were wounded. She began to add new bandages with care." Imma help you get out jake is insane he plans to attack when your babies are born."

"Why help me?" I said with a small voice.

"Because my child I know when someone deserves punishment and when the punisher needs to go down." She said as she put the old bandages on the tray.

"What is your name?" I said as I looked at her.

"Selene" she said as she turned around. before I can question if shes the moon goddess my question is soon answered when her skin shines bright relieving who she really is. "I'll teleport you back near your house" Before I can say anything I appear in front of my car. I walk to the door but before I open it I hear voices coming from inside.

"Any of those can work" the guard said as I leaned closely to the door. "Mate..."
