I saw Stephanie,the woman who was thrown away from her home at my company today".Layla answered.
"Maybe she is looking for a job or she came to visit someone"
Juliet took a deep breath as she tried to remove any thought that Stephanie might be in charge of anything big in the company.
"No,she was introduced as the new head of admin of the company."
Everyone froze in shock.
"This is unbelievable "Melinda spoke.
"To make it worse she is dating Brendan"Layla added.
Juliet froze as her heart bit almost stopped.she felt like the ground should swallow her.
"Y...yo...you mean Laurent Stephanie is dating Brendan the billionaire?"Juliet spoke in panick as she stammered.
"Yes and most people in the company are jealous".
"That is not good hear.Come to the house this evening let's plan something against her"Juliet replied.
Fear crept into her eyes,she lowered her gaze as she held her phone tightly in pain.The news were too heavy for her.
"Alright,I will "she ended the call.
After the call Juliet's face was looking sad.Melinda asked.
"Mom,what is the problem?"she walked up to her mom as her hands trembled slightly.
Everyone was worried including James, Jennifer, Matthew and Melinda's sisters.
Juliet looked at everyone as her eyes carried sadness mixed with fear.
"Stephanie got a job to be the head of admin in Brendan's company".
Everyone was silent in shock.fear crept into the room as they were afraid that Stephanie will use the power to fight them later.
Melinda also realized that Stephanie still better and ahead of her despite her plans to bring her down.While James began to gradually realize that Stephanie was a beautiful woman of a class.
It all came as a slap on their faces.
"This must be a dream,I can't believe what is happening"James spoke as he ran his hand over his head.
"Is it not the same Brendan I dated in the past?now she is Stephanie's boyfriend."Sharon spoke as she lowered her gaze.
"It's not the end darling"Juliet looked at Sharon as she forced a smile"
"Mom are you sure "Sharon replied.
"we will make sure the relationship between her and Brendan does not work out"Juliet eye brow furrowed.
"Mom you caused this,I was supposed to marry Brendan and have my own investments"Sharon lips curved and her eyes narrowed in regrets.
"Shut up,you were the one who told me that you were Afraid because Brendan has a terminal illness" she paused and took a deep breath
She continued"then I told you that you should start taking money from his company in case he dies"
"Yes I agree but if not for your advice I would have stayed with him."
"Sharon,you were also thinking of stealing his money in case he dies from his heart disease"Juliet replied.
"Alright I agree but now I will get him back".Sharon spoke as her eye brow drew towards each other.
Melinda looked at Sharon as jealousy filled her eyes.She is still in love with Brendan and she wants to also get him back.
The next morning at Brendan drink company, Stephanie was already working.She began to study the company and the strength of each of the workers.
She began to relocate workers from one department to another department that matches their strength and experience.Stephanie began to train the marketing teams on how they can market soft drinks to areas where it is very scares.
Within one week the company profit tripled.Everyone in the company began to talk about how intelligent, skillful and kind Stephanie has been.
One afternoon Brenden call her to his office.As Stephanie knocked on the door.
Brenden spoke"come in ".
She walked in as her heels clicked on the marble floor.
"Stephanie you are a genius,you have made this company so successful"he spoke as his cheek widened deeply.
"Thank you,I learnt some of these things from my father's company"Stephanie spoke.
"That's why you are the best"
He stood up and walked up to her.His eyes darkened.he brought his face closer to her's and they hugged each other.
"I love you so much"Brendan spoke while hugging as his eyes were closed.
"I love you too"Stephanie replied.
After the hug, Brendan smile and said"I want to get you a car and a house for you as your birthday"
"Wow, that's very nice,I am so happy"Steph replied as her cheek widened without limits.
"Steph,I have something to tell you"his face became stiff and he felt a bit tensed.
"What is it darling "Stephanie replied as her eyes narrowed in concern.
Stephanie was tensed and anxious as she was about to hear something very deep about Brendan.
