Kate was behind the wheel of her car and Don was following in his truck. Both were loaded with household items and small pieces of furniture Kate wanted at the cottage. Don had said was thrilled with her newfound enthusiasm for the move and grateful things were coming together sooner than he had hoped. He thought it would be better to stop at the cottage and then go to the office, getting in at some point around noon. Their exit was just ahead and Kate pulled into the right lane. “Here we go.”
