EPILOGUE
It had been an eventful trip to Loudon. Don and Kate hosted a family barbeque, and in true McKenna fashion, everyone came bearing platters, casserole dishes, and desserts galore. Cari and Ray set up large tables and chairs under a rented tent. With the adoption final, Devin was officially a McKenna. Jake and Sara chased the triplets, who skipped the walking phase and went straight to running. Grace and Charlie were happy to help wrangle the little ones. Luke and Dani came too, as the newest honorary members of the clan. Kate informed the family she and Don were moving to Crystal Lake and that their door was always open to all, at any time.
