On the night she planned to walk away, Elena was betrayed, drugged, and sold.

By morning, her name was ruined and by night, she was on display.

She was bought by a man who did not ask, Adrian Voss, cold, powerful and untouchable.

But just when she thought it could not get worse…another man walked in, same face and same eyes. Lucian Voss.

Now Elena was trapped between two dangerous men…

and one dark truth she couldn’t escape:

She did not know which one of them touched her that night.

And worse…

She was not allowed to choose.

Because in their world, she did not belong to one man.

She belonged to both.

Elena’s POV The night looked perfect and that was the problem, everything shone too much, the lights were bright, the music was slow and people smiled like they practiced it. I stood beside Marco DeLuca, and my hand rested on his arm and my fingers felt stiff. “Relax,” he said under his breath. “I am relaxed.” “You don’t look like it.” I then forced a smile when another guest walked up. “Congratulations,” the man said. “Thank you,” I replied and my voice sounded normal but my heart was not. This was my engagement party. Tonight, I was supposed to fully become part of Marco’s world. But I already made my choice, after this party, I would end it, I would tell him I could not do this, I didn’t care what happened after. I turned to Marco, he was not even looking at me, his eyes were on his phone again, message after message and his jaw tightened each time. “Is something wrong?” I asked. “No.” “You keep checking your phone.” “Business.” “On your engagement night?” He finally looked at me and his gaze was sharp. “Everything is business.” Something about the way he said it made my chest feel tight and I leaned closer, his lips almost touched my ear. “After tonight,” he said, “you belong to me fully.” My body went still. “I was already part of this deal,” I replied. “Not fully.” I then pulled back and looked at him. “What does that mean?” He smiled but it did not reach his eyes. “You’ll see.” A chill ran through me and I looked around the room again, there were many guards, men I didn’t recognize stood near every door. The doors…I stared, they were closed and locked, no one was leaving and my breath slowed. Something was wrong, I searched for my father and I found him near the corner. “Dad,” I called gently and he looked at me and then looked away, like he could not hold my eyes and my chest tightened. Why is he acting like that? “Elena.” I turned and Serena stood in front of me, my sister smiled, she was calm and too steady. “You look beautiful,” she said. “Thank you.” Her eyes scanned me slowly, like she was studying me. “Big night,” she added. I nodded. “You’re acting strange.” She laughed gently. “You always say that.” “I mean it.” She did not answer, instead, she picked up a glass and pressed it into my hand. “Drink.” I looked at it. “I don’t want to.” “Don’t embarrass me.” “I said no.” Her fingers tightened around mine. “Drink it, Elena.” My heart started beating faster. “No.” Then I heard it, a small sound and movement and then I turned and my breath stopped. Two men were holding my father and one pressed a gun against him. “Dad?” His face looked pale. “Elena…” My legs shook. “Marco!” I shouted. “Do something!” Marco did not move, he then stepped forward slowly and calmly, watching me, like this was nothing, like this was normal and my heart broke. “Marco…?” He stopped in front of me and he looked straight into my eyes and said, “Drink it.” Everything inside me shattered. “What…?” My voice came out broken. “You knew?” Serena smiled beside me and Marco did not look away “You were never meant to marry me, Elena.” Silence filled my ears. “What are you saying?” “You were meant to be useful.” My head shook slowly. “No… no…” “This was a deal,” he continued. “Not a marriage.” My eyes moved to Serena, she was still smiling. “No…” “She takes your place,” Marco said and my breath stopped and then Serena stepped closer to him, like she already belonged there. “This was planned?” I whispered and no one denied it. The gun pressed harder into my father and he groaned. “Drink,” Serena whispered. “Or he dies.” Tears fell from my eyes. “Please… don’t do this…” Marco’s voice cut through everything. “Don’t make this harder than it needs to be.” My hand shook and I looked at my father and he nodded once. “Do it.” I then lifted the glass and my fingers felt numb and I brought it to my lips and I drank. The taste hit fast, bitter and wrong and then I coughed. “What did you do…” Serena stepped back. “What we had to do.” The room spinned and the lights blurred and I tried to stay standing but I failed and my body felt heavy. “Marco…” I reached for him. “You promised…” He then stepped back. “I promised nothing.” My heart broke again and my father dropped to his knees, he did not look at me anymore. Serena then walked to Marco and she took my place beside him and he let her, like I never existed. My vision faded, hands grabbed me and they dragged me away. “Stop…” No one listened, no one helped and the music kept playing, people kept smiling, like this was normal, like I meant nothing and then darkness took me. … I opened my eyes slowly, my head hurt and my body felt wrong, too warm and too heavy. “I don’t feel right…” My voice was weak but no one answered and then I sat up. This was not my room, the door was closed and I tried to stand but my legs shook. “Hello?” There was nothing and then the door opened and a man walked in but I could not see his face clearly. “Who are you?” No one answered. “Stay away from me.” He kept coming closer and my heart beat faster and then my body reacted in a way I hated. “Don’t touch me…” My voice broke and he stopped near me. “You’re awake,” he said, his voice was deep and my breath caught. “I don’t know you…” He then reached out and I flinched. “No…” But my body did not listen and my mind screamed. Stop. But everything felt out of control and his voice again. “Relax.” Tears fell from my eyes, I tried to fight but I couldn’t and everything faded in and out. I only remember pieces, his voice, his hands and me… unable to stop it. …. When I woke again, the room was silent and then I sat up fast. “Hello?” There was no answer, no one was there and I looked around, but there was nothing, no trace an my chest rose fast. “What happened…” My voice shook and I tried to remember but I couldn’t, only pieces, a voice, hands and darkness. “I don’t even know who…” I whispered. Then I saw it, on the table, a glass and I frowned. “That’s not mine…” My breath stopped, there were two glasses, two. My hand started shaking. “No…” My voice broke. “I wasn’t alone…” My heart rang hard. “…I wasn’t alone with just one person…”
