Reya’ POV The infirmary was too quiet. Not the kind of quiet that feels peaceful, but the sort that makes every tick of the clock scrape against your nerves. Even the air felt still, heavy with that faint sterile scent that clung to the sheets and walls no matter how much they were aired out.
