Rose from the Ashes

                                                     Every weakness contains within itself a Strength A girl came near and threw a bottle of milk in Amirah's face and started to bodyshame her making the whole cafeteria laugh at her. The girl was the most popular and also the most beautiful girl of the school Kasumi , Another girl from the gang came and threw a knife towards her saying with disgust " You should die. Have it kill yourself at least we won't have to see your dirty face and your parents won't have to waste money on you fatty". She ran out of the cafeteria and decided to take some fresh air and wash her clothes. When she was finished she spotted her crush , Jacob, coming towards her with a dozens of books. He was the only one who used to be good towards her and comforted her. " Hey Amirah can you please help me with these books actually they are really heavy and I have to set them at the library... So..." He was cut of by Amirah's words " Ya I will surely help you". She picked up half of his books but he gave her almost all her books having only some in his hands. It was very heavy for her to carry but even then she wanted to help him after all he was her crush maybe he would ever like her. Thinking of this she always helped him. While they were walking down the corridor they were spotted by Kasumi. Kasumi ran towards them and asked " Oh Jacob you are so hot and good looking why the hell are you with this slut?" "Oh Amirah was just helping me carry these books " Jacob calmly answered. Kasumi got another idea to bully Amirah and smiled at her wicked thought. She started giving an apologetic look to Jacob "Give those books to that nerd she will carry. " She turned towards Amirah and gave her a disgusted look while continuing " You are so handsome and good looking why do you spend time with the ugly nerd. You should spend time with us right? " She asked her group as they all answered with a yes. Jacob's eyes we're shining as he heard those words " Really can I be with you all" He asked not believing his ears. "Yes of course as long as you leave this ugly duckling. You both don't suit with each other actually. At one side a handsome guy" Kasumi spoke pointing towards Jacob and then Amirah "and other an ugly duckling." In a split second Jacob threw all the books towards Amira making her stumble backwards due to the weight of already heavy books. She tried her best not to fall but fell on the floor with a lout thud making everyone in the hallway including Jacob die out of laughter. It made tears flow down from her eyes reaching their way towards her cheeks making everyone laugh more. She walked angrily towards Kasumi wanting to beat her up. Michael one of their friends stood between them and angrily spoke " Come near Kasumi anywhere and you will be dead" And spilled water on her drenching her. Many students were clicking the pictures and videos of this unforgettable moment. She ran and ran out of the hallway, out of the school to an unknown place behind an abandoned building, sat there bringing her knees colder to her chest,she started crying her heart out for many hours not caring about the time, school, parents, bullies, she just wanted to empty her heart. She had no true friends, the people who she thought were here friends also showed her their backs now she was all alone. When she couldn't cry anymore she decided to go home as it was dark. She wondered how much time did she spent there. The road was all empty as she reached home she saw that the door was open. She remembered her mother could never leave the door open nor could her father, brother or sister then how come the door was empty. She shuddered her worries away and opened the door. She wandered around the house looking for any of their signs but there were none. She quickly dialled her mother's number but her phone was switched off making her more worried. She called her elder sister, Mia, as she would never ignore her call. Thankfully she answered the call and said Amirah"Come to the city hospital papa is beaten up by some people who came inside the house" and with that she ended the call. Amirah ran towards the hospital not caring about the cars, traffic, or the police which was telling her to stop at the red light but she couldn't care less. Suddenly an out of control car came to her direction and she was a bit to get hit by it. She closed her eyes for the pain to come but it never came. Someone pulled her back to avoid the accident. It took Amirah a split second to notice that she was on top of a man and he held her tight in his arms. She sprinted out of his arms and tried to run towards the hospital but he grabbed her arm saying " Are you mad?? Do you want to kill yourself ? If yes then this is the worst way." The stranger was clearly angry but Amira wondered why did he care?. "why do you care ? I am not even important it would be better if I die" she yelled back to him remembering how the students of her school used to bully her. "Don't you have a family? did you ever think of them how hurt they will feel? Maybe they would carry the guilt of unable to save you for their whole life? Giving your life doesn't solve anything instead it will mentally kill the people who are close to you?" His words made Amira realalise how reckless she was and her importance in this world. The importance of her support to her family to her sister and brother. How could she be so careless of her life? she had responsibilities which she had to fulfill at any cost...                                                  ******************************************* The car stopped in front of the hospital gates as he opened the for her door being a gentleman which Amirah appreciated a lot because she was never treated like this and the big reason was that she never sat in a boy's car the only boy she sat with was her brother who would definately not treat her like this. Like which golden brother would ever treat her sister like this. She couldn't help but blush at his behaviour making him chuckle. But this wasn't the time for those cliche thoughts so she ran towards the receptionist after sincerely thanking him. Amira quickly asked for the ward her father was in and ran towards the room no 206 which the receptionist just told was where her father admitted. Reaching up there she found her sister and brother worriedly soothing their mother who sat in between them crying for her husband. Everybody in their whole family and neighbourhood knew how much the loved and cared for each other and were a perfect couple. She waled towards her mother and squatted down in front of her mother making her look towards her. Her mother couldn't control herself anymore and she hugged her crying her heart out on Amirah's shoulders as she started "Y-y...your father was  rep... Reporting about.... Gu family's deeds.... They.... War...warned him... But... We were desperate....and you have....to face all this.... They took our every thing...now we have to move to a new city.... In hiding... I am really sorry children." She finished, tears falling continuously from her eyes making Amirah's shirt soak with water but she couldn't care less. Her brother trying to soothe her mother but she kept crying. Though it was a bad news for them, in a way, it was good for Amirah. Now she could start a new life without her bullies. Her thoughts were interrupted by the nurse coming out of the emergency ward looking towards them with worried look in her eyes she " The patient is better but he needs strict bed rest for a week and the doctor will give you the medicines as soon as you pay the bills after that you can take the patient home."with that she walked away. Mia stood up saying that she would pay the bills first and get the medicines and requested her mom to eat something. As soon as Mia came with the prescription her mom took it looking at the expensive medicines they had to buy. This was a painful time for her and her family. Amairah sat on the hospital chair with her head face under her hands, mentally crying at the sudden circumstances but she couldn't shed her tears.
