Chapter 1 Growing up without your mother is very difficult more especial when there is another woman in your father's life a woman who hates you. Well I'm living with my stepmother Marry and My step sister Precious my father got married after my mother's death unfortunately he married a woman who doesn't like me not even a bit but my father doesn't know that Marry and her daughter treats me like an outsider in my own home. My dad is always busy since he run big companies he is always out off town. I was busy doing my assignment when I hear my mom calling me downstairs. Well I forget to tell you that I am in University I'm doing first year on bachelor of Medicine while Precious is working at Mr Price. I closed my book and rushed to the sitting room where my mom was watching Tv. Marry : You are busy sleeping while my daughter is busy working or you want her to coming back and cook for you? Me: No mom I wasn't sleeping I was doing my assignment Marry: So we are going to eat your assignment right? Me: No mama I'm sorry Marry; Dont say sorry just go and start cooking. Me : Yes mom * I said then rushed to the kitchen* Well I am a good cooker I guess its because I cook almost every day. I was still cooking when Precious walked in she pretended as if I wasn't even there she went straight to the sitting room where my mom was watching Tv. Precious: Hey Gorgeous *She said hugging her before sitting next to her* Marry: Hey babe You look you look tired how was your day? Precious : It was ok mama even though we were busy today I'm hungry I dont know why Lisa always cooks late.*she said taking off her shoes* Marry: You know Lisa is very selfish the only thing she knows is to sleep go to the kitchen and find something to eat. Precious: I can't even get up mom I'm tired I knew that she wanted me to bring it I dont even know why they hate me so much. I was still lost in my thoughts when my mom called. Marry: Lisa I've been calling you what are you thinking about? Me : Im sorry mom. Marry: My daughter is hungry please make something quick for her Me : But mom I'm busy mom I've been cleaning the whole day. Marry : I'm not asking you I'm telling you Me: Ok mom I'll do it I did what I was told to do then after cooking I washed the dishes then I went straight to my room I was very tired I wanted to take a nap before finishing my assignment. Before I could sleep my phone started to ring it was a call from myfriend Lilly. Me: Hey babe Lilly: Hey hun are you ok? Me : I'm ok bbe how is my bbe doing Lilly : I'm Ok hun tell me how far are you with your assignment I'm kind of stuck here. Me : Well I'm almost done but I'm tired friend can we do it together tomorrow. Lilly : That would be owesome why dont you come in my house tomorrow I'm sure you will need a break from those monsters. Me: I really need a break friend lets talk tomorrow then Lilly: Good night Me: Night friend After that I decided to watch movies on my laptop then I fell asleep while I was watching.
